Kick off Black History Month with the Colorado premier of this romantic comedy by feminist, activist Black playwright, Pearl Cleage. Intrigue and love play out among a group of aristocratic African American women as they make plans for their winter cotillion and celebration of their society's first one hundred years. We don't often see this social enclave depicted on stage. Themes of wealth, class, betrayal, and cultural pride are subtly woven into the fabric of this funny, captivating story. You'll be treated to nine fabulous local Black actors having a grand time on stage!
