Although I didn't walk out humming any of the score, the show was great fun!

Saw the original cast in New York when it first came out, can't believe I got to see them again 2 years later and at such a great price and at Wadsworth which is the perfect location, thanks!!

What a funny, relatable and gloriously laugh out loud for all ages from young teen and up. There seem to be no bad seats in this lovely old venue and many of the (Broadway) cast members hung around in the lobby before the show so the play seemed...continued

I LIKED IT BUT, I FOUND THE ERECTION SONG INAPPROPREIATE FOR CHILDREN. I MADE A DATE WITH MY DAUGHTER TO ATTEND THIS PLAY. AND SOME OF THE MATERIAL I DID NOT UNDERSTAND. WILL BARFY WAS MY FAVORAITE CHACRACTER.

I love musicals, all except this one. I thought the premise was juvenile and the music was awful. I would have left, but I didn't want to disturb other patrons and there was no intermission. The only good thing I can say is that it was...continued

Charming, original musical that is a delight from start to finish. It's great to see the original cast--a rarity in L.A.

Funny show. Clever comedic lines and clever use of audience members as some of the spelling bee contestants. Songs weren't so clever, and the sound quality left alot to be desired.

Fun show. Would benefit from a smaller venue. The improvisational bits were the most entertaining.

Second time I saw it, first at the OPAC which has much better sound quality then the Wadsworth. Other than that it was a wonderful experience both times.

It's a cute show, but wholesome humor and puns are not really my sort of thing, so I never laughed out loud, except at amusement over how hilarious the people around me found it.

Do not miss the opportunity to see the original broadway cast. We rarely get that here in LA. This ensemble is flawless. I experienced the same excitement as when I first saw it in New York. You cannot imagine how funny this is!

Just delightful! However, a warning about the venue. There is no elevator to the balcony; you have to climb two sets of stairs. Also, the parking lot is not configured for a speedy exit. Plan on at least a 15 minute wait to get out.

The cast was uniformly excellent. I had seen this cast in New York and I enjoyed this performance almost as much. (The only thing missing was the element of surprise.) A must for any musical theater fan.

I wish I could go back and see it a second time. We are very lucky to have the original Broadway cast. They know these quirky and wonderful characters as their own. In no time you believe they are the wonderful outsider children they represent....continued
