I did not like this tour because it was NOT a tour along Embassy Row. It didn't even take us to Embassy Row! I also expected that we would be able to get in to one of the embassy homes but as I mentioned, we did not even get to the actual street...continued

Mark is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. We loved his stories of the people who built and lived in the fabulous homes on and off DuPont Circle, including those along Embassy Row. We think Mark would be a great guide for any tour in...continued

This was a great tour. We covered Massachusetts Avenue between Dupont & Sheridan Circles, and ended at the Anderson House (Society of the Cincinnati). Long before it was Embassy Row, this was "society row." We learned a bit about architectural...continued

Mark was great! He really knows his stuff, and the stories he told went beyond the pretty architecture and really gave us the opportunity to get to know some of the colorful characters of DC's past.

This tour was very in-depth and comprehensive, and felt tailored to who we were (aka. if we had kids with us, or were out-of-town tourists, I expect the tour would have been adjusted to fit). Mark did a great job.

Mark made this a really great walk. He is a wealth of information and very entertaining. He came with 2 notebooks of photos that helped us really appreciate Washington in the early 1900's and his enthusiasm is contagious.

Nice way to spend some time in the Dupont Circle area. Mark, the guide was very knowledgeable and informative. You'll get a lot of local history and some laughs about some of the outrageous characters that lived in these houses.

Pretty basic walking tour. Nice to be outside and learn some history of the houses, but nothing special.
