The dancing was extraordinary, the symbolism was rich and the visuals were stunning. A wonderful modernization of a classic. Bravo!

Unfortunately, the poor handling of the venue - i.e. short intermission with little warning before the 2nd...continued

The ballet was avant garde with interesting choreography and staging. Very modern with classical overtones. Several moments will linger for a lifetime. The dancers were exquisite. I thought the lighting was very inventive. Beautifully...continued

Great show. Get there early b/c this venue had a ridiculously long will call line.

They possess the discipline and form reminiscent of Mikhail Baryshnikov's era. The set and costumes were wonderful. I saw "Romeo and Juliet" and both dancers were amazing. "Juliet" is a ballerina who is clearly devoted totally to her craft --...continued

It was very disorganized outside...took until 8:30 to pick up the tickets.
There wasn't a written program, only an announcement of cast.
The dance was good, but very little set, costumes or story-line...
I fell asleep!

The seats were extremely close together. The ballet started late and they were ushering people to their seats 30-45 minutes into the production.

It was a Wednesday night, maybe that was it? And, I didn't like the music-- it was NOT the Tchaikovsky music that we all love but "the other guy's music"... Prokovief. And then the grey haired lady sitting in the seat directly in front of me...continued

If it weren’t for Prokofiev, I might not have known it was Romeo & Juliet. The story was ripped apart. Parts that do not move the story were omitted. No friar blessed a wedding or provided a sleeping draught, though there are the same results:...continued

THe dancing was adequate for the most part. The Tybalt was excellent in his characterization. The Juliet reminded me in size and shape of a young Gelsey Kirkland, but she was much less fluid and dynamic.

The staging and overall conception...continued

The actual performace was lovely, the audience was atrocious! I've seen better behavior in a barn...talking, cell phones, people walking around (it was reeeeeally bad). It should also be mentioned that there is not a live orchestra...that was a...continued

When I was in St. Petersburg, Russia, I did not get to see this wonderful company. For this event, I was only able to get rear balcony tickets so it was quite a distance from the stage and that had much to do with my comment. It was like...continued

The performance was unique - some of it dazzling, some puzzling. The prima ballerina was wonderful.

That said, the venue was awful. Will Call was swamped and could not handle the load - we were still in line at 810 pm. When we finally got to...continued

Excellent performances, lovely sculptures to view between acts and well equipped bar. Flawless performance by the dancers, not a weak person in the troupe.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!!
The theater, however, continued to seat people after the ballet started and that was a real nightmare for the rest of us.

The worst ballet performance I have ever seen. Bad set, bad costumes, absolutely boring performance. There was a very large exodus of people fleeing the theater at intermission. A definite 'must MISS'!!
