Dead Man's Cell Phone, A Quirky Comic Adventure at Steppenwolf Theatre Reviews & Ratings
Just not a professional play. I felt as if I were at a high school event. Not up to the usual Steppenwolf standard.report as inappropriate
A bit out there but very entertaining. Actors did a wonderful job with their roles. We had great seats.report as inappropriate
We walked out at intermission. The writing was horrible, the acting was horrible - don't waste your time or money on this.report as inappropriate
So beautifully done. It's actually the second time I saw it.report as inappropriate

Would not recommend "Dead Man's Cell Phone." Very disjointed, although it had a few humorous lines. The play is just not very engaging.report as inappropriate
It had a few really good scenes, but overall, it was uneven. Some scenes seemed unfinished; the actor playing Jean was over-the-top in her performance (which I thought made her unbelievable).report as inappropriate
The visuals are fabulous. The play itself is a fairy-tale for adults, with strong moralizing themes. If you're into that sort of thing, guess it was okay.report as inappropriate
A little slow but decent overall.report as inappropriate
First act was very good, but second act dragged A LOT. It also wandered too much.report as inappropriate
Well acted play.
The soliloquy in the 2nd act could have been shortened or eliminated.
good time, funny, bizzare, quirky, strangereport as inappropriate
This play gets high marks for it's originality!
The cast is engaging and entertaining, and you feel yourself rooting for them all. Humor is sprinkled throughout the play....and true to Steppenwolf it was an all-over great experience.report as inappropriate
Amusing production that lacked that certain spark. Great cast and performance.report as inappropriate
