We showed up at the Hornblower facilities at 11:20 (40 minutes before the ship leaves the dock). We waited outside a bit and 30 minutes before 12:00, one of the Hornblower's photographers started letting each group in, one at a time, taking a few...continued

We LOVED this cruise! It was a "double date" for my parents' 31st anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a better day to be on the water.
Everyone's consensus: Good food, good booze, good ride, good company!
The tour is 45 minutes each way....continued

I agree with the other reviewers that the food is not fantastic, but it's decent. Hornblower ran everything like clockwork. They were very punctual and the staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service. The weather was fantastic...continued

So the food was pretty good. Your basic sunday brunch buffet type dishes. We went on Sunday, Jan 18th, and the weather was perfect! You sail for about 2 hours and the champagne and OJ is free flowing. Think mimosas! =) When we finished eating...continued

A great way to spend a weekend afternoon -- our champagne glasses were always full, very relaxing scenery, the staff was very friendly and the Captain provided lots of Newport history. We sailed on the Wild Goose which is John Wayne's old yacht...continued

I like that fact that we could go anywhere we wanted to on the yacht.
All the bedrooms were accessible to anyone. That was just great!

We had a great time. The food was good, the weather was beautiful. Our waitress however, wasn't as generous with the champagne as she could have been. She would come to the table and fill only one person's glass and leave...what the hey? The...continued

Because there weren't that many people booked, we sailed on John Wayne's yacht which was very special.

It was a elegant and romantic day cruise. Brunch was excellent, crew were friendly, and scenery was gorgeous. It was a great opportunity to "escape" from your normal life and have a relaxing "vacation" day experience. We will be returning!

We greatly enjoyed this lovely two-hour brunch cruise in Newport Beach. Cruise goes to the breakwater and back, so stays in calm waters the whole time, and the captain gave some commentary about the history of the beautiful homes we passed. The...continued

We went for a girls outing with my sisters and my Mom and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was not exceptional, but the experience as a whole was wonderful! We would definitely do it again.

I liked the cruise because it was beautiful day, I was with friends, and it was my first trip on the Wild Goose. But overall I would rank it as OKAY. The food is average. Our waitress was very slow. It took 10 minutes to get our first drinks -...continued

I had an awesome time, it was very relaxing and I had unlimited mimosas :) I took my boyfriend there and he had a great time as well. There's nothing like mimosas and the view of the ocean with the one you love. I totally recommend it :)
