I grew up listening to Ted Neeley sing these songs and won't say anything bad about him but it might be time to move on. This just wasn't as professional a production as I expected it to be. Mostly in the direction, some of the acting and singing,...continued

I saw Neeley the first time he played Jesus and loved it then and his intensity is still as strong as ever. Great supporting cast. Herod stole the second act. I highly recommend this event to everyone.

This is a spectacular play and a must see. The music was fantastic and the acting was distinctive. Ted Neeley's voice made him distinct and unique as the one and only Jesus Christ. Judas and the Pharisees stand out as villains leading to a...continued

Performance was of outstanding quality with a different approach from other times I have viewed the performance. Strong voices for all members of the cast and seats were great.

We enjoyed the performance. I had never seen the stage play but the soundtrack had been a favorite of mine many many years ago.

Never in my life have I heard anyone scream so horrendously. Over and over again. Ted Neeley should retire, he was just not pleasant to hear. Maybe if you have an affinity for wailing you would enjoy this. The sound quality of the production was...continued

seemed like it was the Disney production of JCS. No soul in most of the singers voices. Loved hearing Ted Neeley's voice again, but we left at intermission. Very disappointed.

have seen JCS 9 times in the past 35 years and this was a fantastic production. Ted Neeley, what a treat. Judas was great although i had a difficult time understanding him. loved it a great night of entertainment

I went to see it last night and i have to say that i didn't enjoy it at all. i think the stage, costume and singing were lame. we left at the intermission.
the seats were good tho.

It was fantastic. I have seen this show performed 5 different times over the years. And this is by far the best total ensemble cast and Ted Neely's Jesus is the cherry on top. The music is moving, the direction superb and the perfomers are top...continued

This was the most poorly conceived, terribly produced, horribly choreographed, and badly acted and performed piece of drek that I ever saw! (and the singing was WORSE except for the Mary Magdalene character whose talent was wasted in this show) ...continued

Overall the show was fantastic. Ted Neeley was in vintage form...although I'm thinking it's time for him to pass the torch on to somebody a little closer to Jesus' age. Judas was very good...though not the best I've seen. Pilate's voice was the...continued

If you have seen the original play or movie and enjoyed them, you may not like this "over-the-top" production. Ted Neely's "singing," was, for the most part, screeching and screeming and not much actual singing.

And be aware that the...continued

My boys 16 & 18 years old and this was thier first experience to stage performance. They enjoyed the show even though I was concerned they would be bored with an all musical production and of bibligical nature. However I too grew up listening to...continued

I knew that Ted's performance would be weak (just watch the film), however I was hoping for the supporting cast to entertain me and that some of them would be able to sing. Alas, it was like watching a high school performance and even that is too...continued

As a huge fan of JCSS, I was excited to see it with Ted Neeley. Unfortunately, this guy needs to be put out to pasture. He couldn't sing or move around too well.

The staging was a bit weak also. The music still rocks, but you can listen to...continued

Ted Neeley might be a million years old, but so what? The show is as campy and fun as ever. This production I think was limited by the theater itself; for instance, the hanging scene was largely metaphorical, whereas the last time I saw Ted...continued
