Yasmina Reza's Comedy Art at Steppenwolf Reviews & Ratings
Great acting, very funny in parts, time went by very quickly. Small theater so all seats good.report as inappropriate
There wasn't any sign of a real friendship between the characters which was needed for this type of play. Individually the performances were good but altogether they subtracted from the play.report as inappropriate
A must see.report as inappropriate
As good as the first time I saw it in VO.report as inappropriate
wanted to see this on broadway... so glad i caught it here. an intimate theatre, and clever set design added to the experience. the actors succeeded at moving the audience to laughter, empathy, and to think!
Clever, clever, clever - wonderfully witty script and great performances from the actors.report as inappropriate
This play was so simple, yet extremely complex. Brilliantly done. Highly recommended and very entertaining.report as inappropriate
This was a fine production and worth the time and money. It is worth going to see Joe Dempsey's role of Yvan. The play itself is a bit pointless, or maybe dated.report as inappropriate
I've seen this 4 times! 3 times in London once in Chicago. All with different casts, all with a different take on the play. Beautifully done, stay for the discussion after the play. Can I give it more than 4 stars?report as inappropriate
An engaging and thought-provoking drama. Many themes came to the fore, including men's relationships, art and its influence, art and how we ascribe value to it, among others. The acting was excellent. My spouse and I both highly recommend it.report as inappropriate
2 of the 3 actors bellow continuously. The third, at least half the time. Apparently no one ever taught them that control of voice production is a prerequisite for actors.report as inappropriate
Funny, well acted and truly enjoyable play.
Clever stage design.
