I saw this production when it was at the Ahmanson in Los Angeles, and this performance was just as good, a year and a half later. The cast still has fantastic timing and conveys the same realistic spontaneity and fun atmosphere as before. The cast...continued

it was a great show! all the singers were fabulous...and they did it in such a way that you mainly looked at the puppets, not the people. what a great job they did, and it was a great evening. Thank you, Goldstar, for offering a wonderful...continued

Terrific Show! As I like to say: This one is wildly inappropriate in every good way! So much fun... We took 4 people of various ages and all of them enjoyed many things about it. I have to agree with the other review that it is difficult to hear...continued

This show was absolutely GREAT ! ! ! I encourage all to see it if you're open minded and ready to laugh at all the non "politically correct" situations. One downfall was that I could barely understand and hear some of the lyrics during the...continued

The show was great. The acoustics in "Orange County Performing Arts Center, Segerstrom Hall (Costa Mesa, CA)" in Tier 2 were HORRIBLE.
This made it impossible to really enjoy the show.

We had seen the play in New York, off Broadway, and thoroughly enjoyed it. In the larger venue (Segerstrom) it was hard to hear the dialog and lyrics and we missed many of the subtle jokes. The cast was very talented and expressive and compared...continued

FANTASTIC! It's definitely an adult show but somehow it still captures some of that childlike tenderness and cuteness in the storyline.

I saw this at OCPAC - if you go, get as close as you can. Don't buy the cheap seats in the back!

The...continued

GO SEE THIS SHOW!!! It is so much fun! Go with an open mind because it is a bit bawdy and please do NOT take anyone under 14 as it is "adult" (puppet sex, anyone?) but a very clever, wonderful show with great, catchy tunes, a well-told story and...continued

My mother and I thought it was hilarious. The puppeteers are fantastic. Several puppeteers operating more than one puppet. Fantastic.
It's an equal-opportunity offender musical. You have to like this type of humor, to love the play.

This is a fabulous show! We loved it. But, if you can afford better tickets,
I'd definitely sit a lot closer! But if this is all you can afford, by all means go see it!

I saw Avenue Q in New York last September where there is no comparison to going "out" to see a show on Broadway but the sets, casts, acting etc. were equally entertaining. Sound at OCPAC is just ok. Overall highly recomend this show.

The show was a lot of fun, not your typical run of the mill type musical/show but worth seeing if you go with an open mind and you enjoy a giggle...
I would reccomend getting seats closer to the action, as the visuals are important, and maybe...continued

Having seen this show on Broadway two years ago, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this Road Show is on par with the original. Avenue Q manages the impossible, that being raunchy and sweet at the same time, and...continued

It was hilarious, obscene and so inappropriate, but so brutally honest at the same time. This musical is especially relevant to these current times. I thought the singers were really good and the show was presented really well.

I couldn't...continued

Avenue Q is a delightful show. I think it would play better in a smaller house. Some of the voices were hard to hear. Still, it is too bad that it will be hear such a short time.

I went to see Avenue Q after learning that it got a Tony award. I was intrigued about the play and treated my husband and adult son. We loved it! The topics were topical, relevant and irreverent. The cast was superb. I was amazed at the...continued

Such a fun show. I saw it when it was still Off Broadway so I was a little spoiled by the more intimate theater but for the price, we had great seats. This show is not for the easily offended but if you have a good sense of humor, you'll love it!

Funny beyond belief and it struck a special chord with my friend who recently graduated college. I would attend again and you can't beat the price.

We had a wonderful time at this show, although it was a bit "raunchy" but, we had been warned. The songs made it fun, the characters were likable and the issues current. It was an enjoyable night at the theatre. We did sit on the second tier...continued
