Hey guys
So I took the 12:30 cruise. It was a picture perfect day. I would advise to bring a sweater as it does get windy. Full bar aboard as well.Bud Lights run about $5.50. All the guys on crew were very friendly. The captain you'll recognize...continued

We took the 7 pm cruise in mid August. As we sailed, the sun set behind the Statue of Liberty and the harbor seas were calm with a gentle roll to them. The ship was much larger and longer than I thought it would be, but there were just the right...continued

Beautiful day. Maiden sail. Great crew. Wonderful experience. Do it.

It was a very relaxing trip, the ship was slow. Not recommended for tourists because it only goes to the statue of liberty, you don't get much view of manhattan. For those who just want to relax on a nice day, it's a good choice.

Took my daughter for her 10th birthday. Since kids now a days are glued to their computer or game counsel, I was not sure if she would enjoy something as " LOW TECH " as wind and sails. She had a BLAST. Your invited to help raise the sails with...continued

This is a beautiful schooner which sails out around the Statue of Liberty. The views of the harbor are spectacular and the crew are lovely people.

My husband and 2 grandsons, ages 12 and 14 accompanied me on the Sail NY Harbor tour.
The only thing we enjoyed was the raising and lowering of the sails. We were told by the captain that we would be sailing to New Jersey and we would see the...continued

Beautiful mellow way to take in New York harbor and all the vistas from the ship. After all the hustle and noise of NYC it's nice to just be out there with the sound of the wind in the sails. The crew was very nice and if you help set the sails...continued

I took my friend on this cruise for her birthday. The day was hot with no breeze. The crew was nice and drinks okay. Definately go with a group and we suggested they play music. It was okay. I'm glad we did not pay full price.

The best part about the sailing excursion was the weather was beautiful. We sat at the dock for about 20 minutes, and returned 5 minutes before the scheduled return time, so instead of a 90 minute trip, it was only 1 hour. The 'captain' seemed...continued

Fantastic sail on the East River and NY harbor. After getting out of the harbor, it's basically a lazy coast along to Lady Liberty then a loop around governor's island on the way back. It was great. Not too crowded, plenty of seats (if you...continued

The boat ride was great. My family and I had a ball. The staff was great and they had us help put up the sails. My kids had a great time doing that. They had a bar on the boat which was fair price, but the drinks could of been a bit stronger. They...continued

While it was a very clear day, for some reason I expected more...don't know why, but I did. The ride was smooth, but there was nothing exceptional. I expected to hear more about the boat, things we were passing, some kind of "general," info at...continued

I went when it was cloudy and it was still as nice and fun (and cold!) as everyone else has reported. The bar has a modest list of offerings and there is no food sold on board. I saw someone eating a little snack over her lap that she brought...continued

For the money, it was a decent 90 minute excursion. I would recommend going on a date or with some friends that you can talk to. Those 90 mins are long if you are out there alone or with someone you really do not want to date long term. Again -...continued

I took my sister, brother in law and their kids (11 and 13) on the cruise and we loved it. The boat is rustic and the crew were nice. The bathroom was not working the day we went out so make sure to check before you go on. There is a bar that...continued
