The event was fun, unfortunately, the weather was a little windy but the camaraderie and ambience managed to help keep us warm. We're certainly planning on taking another voyage on the Shearwater this coming summer.

Very nice, would definitely do it again. The wine was good and Felicia even gave out a little goody bag and an autographed copy of her book. Well worth the $50 per person wtih the Goldstar discount (not quite worth a $100 without).

it was cold but the sail was pleasant. i enjoyed the wine tasting but i would not pay $95 (regular price) for this. crew were nice and helpful. this boat did not have a lot of places to sit (unless you sat on the floor) so some people just stood...continued

Well, naturally it poured!! But, the people working on board were lovely. We ended up having a great time despite the weather :/ The wines were delicious and they often gave you as much as you liked from each bottle. There was plenty of cheese,...continued

Experience was EXCELLENT! The staff & crew were very hospitable and friendly. We would do this wine tasting again in a split second and recommend this to friends and families as well.

The Shearwater is an authentic, original schooner built in 1929 and always a pleasure to sail on: relaxed, expert crew and if you sit by the helm, in a sunken seating area with a backrest, you don't have to worry about the boom. No narration, no...continued

The event was great, it had rained all day and just cleared up in time for the cruise. The boat ride was great and the wines were good. I had four wines I had not tasted before and the crackers and cheese were really good. Great experience

The boat itself is very nice. For the price it really was not worth it. The wine tasting was weak. The woman pouring the wine kept saying we are running low so I can only give you a little bit. For all four tastes we are lucky if we got four...continued

What a beautiful evening we had! Wonderful views of manhattan. Don't miss it! Take a sweater, just in case.

Fun event. Plenty of wine and cheese for everyone. Only wished I knew about the limited seating upstairs.

Lovely event. Just the right length of time for a harbor sail (great views of the statue of liberty and lower Manhattan and even a few cruise ships heading out on a Sun evening).

The crew was very friendly... We got to see the boat inside and out... It was a lot of fun... Unfortunately, not enough wine to get us tipsy.... lol...

It was a lot of fun. The thing I didn't realize though was that everyone had to sit on deck. We got there really late so ended up standing the whole time but it wasn't bad. Also, the trip was just to the Statue of Liberty and you linger there for...continued

The staff were great as everyone was really friendly. Like all the other reviews, we went on a windy and cold day in May. They gave us enough blankets but I wish I wore more clothes. More than enough wine. My fiancee won a raffle but in the...continued

It was a pleasant afternoon despite the chilly weather. I was hoping for a bit more substance in the wine tasting. Four wines were sampled but the instructor didn't share much beyond what you would find in a decription at a wine store.

Beautiful boat, friendly crew. We have a very nice time. My only criticism is that it was a little too crowded & seating was a little tough to be comfortable. I'd still definitely recommend this trip. :-)

Great activity for a nice day! Plenty of snacks (cheese and crackers) and there was wine leftover for seconds for the sail back to the marina. Crew was great and had plenty of blankets on board. Believe what others have posted: its a LOT cooler...continued

I think this event was great. I would not pay $90 but it's worth the $47 this site charges. We tasted 4 wines and if you didn't drink wine they had juices and beer. They also had cheese and crackers. Most of us had a place to sit but by the end of...continued
