The opening night of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the OC Performing Arts Center proved magical and entrancing with a surprise visit from one of the Sherman brothers, the composers of much of Disney's most popular music.

And it was indeed the...continued

A fun show for the entire family. The movie is a classic and the stage version does not dissapoint. The cast was wonderful. There were all kinds of live dogs running across the stage. The lead children were especially good. It is the flying...continued

The movie is far superior. This show is quite listless and the sound quality was terrible...hard to hear what anyone was singing.

I originally saw this in London in 2002 and enjoyed it. Opening night went without a hitch, and the hall was mostly full. Great staging and great singing and choreography. Smaller children around me were noisy and restless, but that is to be...continued

Have seen tons of shows, and would say that this one was very light hearted and fun. Great singing, strong cast, a fun night. Enjoyed it a bunch....the flying car was pretty neat too!!

Don't waste your money. The orchestra is so loud you can't understand a word anyone is singing on stage. Jeremy and Jimyma out shine the two leads by miles. Grandpa and the two spys were also very good but not enough to carry the entire show. The...continued

I had a pretty good time. The cast was talented and the show had some fun visual delights, but the show itself was not really very good. I LOVED the movie as a kid, so I really wanted it to translate well to the stage, but it didn't do it for me...continued

This show was quite enjoyable, providing a fairly smooth transition from movie screen to stage. The actors were all very talented, with some very funny moments offered by the two Vulgarian spies (Dirk Lumbard and Scott Cote). The effect of the...continued

Excellent quality. Clean and polished song and dance numbers. Great job done by both adult and children performers.

Good family entertainment. We had great seats. My granddaughter loved it. She said it is better than the movie.

My granddaughter (she's 22) and I enjoyed the show VERY MUCH! The cast, the costumes, the music, AND the amazing magical technology that allowed the car to fly were SO fun. Our seats were great too! This was the first time we've purchased seats...continued

I brought my daughters, ages 10 & 12, who have attended many OCPAC shows with me. They especially liked how the car flies. The samba set was fabulous, too. The performers, especially the children, were wonderful.

It is unfair to compare this production with the film. Reviewing the DVD, I came to the conclusion that Dick Van Dyke was supplied a great deal of material that he made his own. (In me Ol' Bamboo he expertly takes over that number where the...continued

This is a great show about family, for the family. Children will enjoy the music, dogs and flying car. Adults reminisce and sing-a-long.

This was a fun show, not too deep and a good adaption from the movie. The kids and dog stole the show and of course the car was the star!
