The songs were rooted in Jay Leonhart's life, filled with compassion, humor and insights. The musicianship was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

All seats provide great sight lines and the acoustics are top notch. We heard a 17 piece big band and the sound levels were just right. The servers are also very professional and friendly

What a treat to visit Birdland and hear the wonderful Bill Charlap trio. Full house. Tony Bennett was in the audience. Bill Charlap is a real master of the American songbook and always a joy to hear.
