Tierney Sutton was amazing, the best Jazz singer today, and Birdland is the best place to see such a class act. Intimate setting, great food, and you're surrounded by photos and the aura of Jazz days from gone by to the present. We had great seats,...continued

Birdland is a nice spacious club. It took a little while to get the check after the show.

I always like going to Birdland. I enjoyed the music, main-stream jazz. Really good pianist; he played a lot more than Nicholas Payton. I Would go see this group again.

I went with my wife and enjoyed a very fine performance by Karrin Allyson along with dinner at a ringside table. The staff at Birdland was as always friendly and accomodating.

Jane Monheit was absolutely wonderful! Her versatility is great. The recommendation by Jonathan Schwartz to see this show is as true as his many others. Birdland is truly the "top of the line" venue for great jazz.

Phil Woods played with trumpeter Brian Lynch and pianist Bill Mays; it doesn't get better than this.

The Champian Fulton Quartet plays a combination the American songbook and jazz. They do half vocal and half instrumental. They have unique arrangements of some of the songs. They are very good. I would go see them again. This show lasted about an...continued

The group is wonderful! The club was nice too and has tables for two (not communal style). The sound sytem is great in the club as well. We had to be strict with ourselves in order to stick to the $10 minimum since so many items are more. The...continued

The piano and bass were a nice combination; good musicians and lovely songs. And you can't go wrong playing songs from the Great American Songbook! We arrived 1/2 hour prior to the performance and had our choice of seats. I would definitely go...continued

All the seats in this venue afford a view of the stage. Despite its size, this venue still has an intimate feel. The musicians were of top caliber. The only complaint I have is the surly cocktail waitress who acted like getting a drink was a huge...continued

Cyrelle Aimee was wonderful. And the band was generally superb, especially the tenor saxophonist. The food, however, was less than mediocre. But overall, Birdland is a great venue for jazz.
