Pharaoh Sanders was outstanding along with Jeff Watts and Cannon on Base. I attended the performances on Tuesday and Thursday as well. Outstanding time on both nights.

the instrumental trio was satifactory. we did not think the singers had any business at birdland. are times that tough? the usual overpriced liquor, and mediocre (shrimp po' boy, mac&cheese)food. at least i expected the music to be good. had...continued

the masters were extraordinary;the intertwining of their passion and dynamic sophistication had the effect of a gospel choir in a library reading room

the music was great but drinks overpriced. If I'm going to pay $14 for a martini I want a strong drink, use good vodka and skip the juice.

The music was great and the room is quite wonderful. We had read reviews about the service being slow, but it was just fine. The food was better than expected, although by no means gourmet food, but tasty and served promptly

the performers were awesome. However the wait staff could have been better. It took forever for the drinks and food to come. We had to ask multiple times for a glass of water... and it still never showed up.

The singer was second in the Thelonous Monk competition. She is very good, technically sound, good scatting. However, I did not find her soulful.

Although I was offered a side table I preferred seating at the bar when I attend by myself. The setting is intimate and one of the best jazz venues in NYC. Food is optional but I find the salmon bb salad excellent and reasonably priced. Bird Land...continued

Amazing! As I watched the Arturo O'Farrill Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra from my front stage dining table, I thought, "This is what happiness looks like: The open bell of a brass horn screaming into a microphone."

Great Food as well.

An intimate late night set with Maureen McGovern and two of the best musicians around - Jay Leonhart on bass and her amazing Musical Director, Jeffrey Harris, on piano . Very personal "patter" from Ms. McGovern helped to bring songs from the...continued

Birdland is an incredible space! Comfortable;
even as a "one". The service was very good.
Tierney Sutton and her Band were fantastic. I will definitely go again!
