The Sheepshearing Festival was really enjoyable--the best part for me was the herding demonstration--absolutely fascinating--who knew that the dogs control the sheep with their eyes, not by nipping at their heels! The crafts and food vendors were...continued

Wonderful family event. Lots of children, all ages, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. There were plenty of hands-on activities. Very engaging.
However, I was not happy with the sheep-herding event. I've seen much other dog...continued

This was my first time. I took my niece and her husband and their two toddlers. Everyone loved it! The kids were enthralled with the animals and the food, we loved the crafts fair, and everyone had a ball. We can't wait for next year!

Great event for the whole family. The Fiber Tent could have been bigger for my tastes, but the general crafters were great and the kids really enjoyed the reenactors and the animals.

This is a fun-filled festival definitely worth a check-out! All the vendors and food are great. Be sure to check out the dog herding demonstration and watch the sheep get sheared! The festival is definitely worth the money you pay to get in.

I just love bagpipes and alpacas! Both are soooo cute! It also helped that it was a beautiful day. Oh yes, don't forget the sheep dogs herding the sheep. Wonderful demonstration.

It rained and the crowd was really thin and many of the vendors didn't show... Completely different from last year when it was a beautiful day.
