Definitely a great time, but if you like to actually stop at each exhibit, it will take way longer than the 1 1/2 to 2 hours they estimate. We were there for 2 1/2 until they closed, and we missed about 25% of the museum.

Don't be fooled by SCI experience. There is no SCI lab include in this deal. They asked as to pay $8 for each ticket to get to SCI Lab in add. Expo is little bit boring. SCI Lab is not so exciting as well - to much talk and not much to do in....continued

Enjoyed the museum but think $20 is a bit pricey for admission. There is a lot to read and see so going to lunch and returning afterward to see more is a good idea.

Fantastic! My 11 year old son thought it was the best thing we did on our vacation to D.C..

Fun interactive displays kids of all ages can enjoy including being in a jail lineup, a jail cell with an escape tunnel, a chance to crack the code of a safe and more. A lot of interesting facts and displays for adults and older kids.

Girlfriend and I both really enjoyed the museum. After 3.5 hours, we still had more to see and enjoy. Loved the insight into the criminal mind and the little anecdotes on the placards. One minor negative - we almost walked right by the...continued

Glad I didn't pay full price for the ticket, but it was pretty fun. The CSI section was a lot more interesting than the rest, for me. There's a ton of info, so you could spend a really long time reading about all the stuff if you're interested,...continued

Great experience; varied and interesting; wish we had planned more time there than the three hours we allotted.

Great museum, covered all areas of crime and punishment, will go again. Allow at least 2-2.5 hours

Had a nice time. Very interesting! The kids (13, 15) thought it was good. I would say the only not so great thing was the body laid out on the table. The body (fake) is quite worn and dated, missing a toe that someone broke off. Maybe upgrade?

I don't know how crowded it usually is, but we were pleased that it wasn't not very busy on a Sunday afternoon. The website said that it should take about 2 hours-it took us almost 3 hours and that's because we weren't even 1/2 way through after...continued

I enjoyed it. It certainly was "For the People" as my sister-in-law says.

I personally thought this was just okay. You spend most of the time reading printed materials on the walls. I admit they have some fun ways of presenting the material, but it's mostly just text and photos. I'd say it definitely wouldn't be...continued

I recommend devoting 3 hours to the museum and doing the labs at the very beginning. Interesting museum and worth it, although a bit long. Lots of reading with some interesting visuals . Could've used a break in the middle. Crime labs are worth...continued

I thought this was a cool museum. It started out back in the Western times of Billy the Kid, Bonnie & Clyde and moved forward to the present. The factual information, and the props and hands on stuff was really interesting. I took my 11 year...continued

I took my son & his friend (11 & 12 years old, respectively) after lunch time. The museum was uncrowded, which meant that we could get up close & read about all of the criminals, weapons & methods of punishment throughout history. We were...continued
