I took my boyfriend to this event. It was awesome. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Be sure to get there when the doors open because you don't want people blocking your view. I wouldn't mind going again!

I went with a small group that encompassed several age groups. Everyone had a great time--even those that were sure they wouldn't. And the CSI section was a huge hit. We all enjoyed the chance to figure out "whodunit". Great job.

It was nothing special. Considering that Washington has so many free things, I would skip this and go to the FBI tour or the Bureau of Engraving tour (both great fun for kids and free) instead.

It was really fun, the best part is that you can take pictures and the museum is really interactive

It was very interesting. I thought this was only going to take 2 to 2 2/1 hours but it was a lot longer so plan accordingly. There was alot to read and see. We went on a Friday expecting that there would not be a big crowd. But there was.

It was very crowded and the space is already constrained because of the retrofit of the space to the museum exhibits. I felt I could not stop long and read. Some portions of exhibits were not working, but not enough to bother me - for example,...continued

it's generally good. We liked the interactivity. The CSI room is almost too much information - it would be enhanced by having a knowledgeable guide. It just seemed overwhelming and we had already spent 2 hours looking at the earlier exhibits.

My 11 yr old daughter is a big NCIS fan. She loved this museum. Lots of hands on activity. Expect to spend at least 2-3hrs. Would not recommend for children under 8 you must be able to read and comprehend lots of material.

My boyfriend and I were total nerds and read everything. As a result, I'm pretty sure that we spent more than 3 hours at the museum! We had a lot of fun learning while at the museum - though there is a LOT of reading, so if you're not into that,...continued

My husband had such a wonderful time. It is a lot of reading but very intersting. A must see if you like crime scenes and shows such as CSI.

My kids liked it better than the spy museum. Plan to spend two hours at least. We went on a day that wasn't crowded. Spaces are tight so in a crowd wouldn't be great. Teens liked the police cruiser and shootout simulators. CSI thing was at...continued

Not enough display of monetary counterfeit work, investigations or how they are conducted. Personally, I do not care for the autopsy section - it gave me the creeps. I suggest another emphasis: DNA analysis of blood typing, tissue typing,...continued

The crime and punishment museum was my 11 year-olds favorite thing in D.C. Buy the detective challenge book. My kids shared a single book and had fun finding the clues to solve the case. Worth the money.

The CSI Experience was quite interesting. Not at all what I expected. There is a lot of interactive entertainment such as cracking a safe or driving a police car to an accident scene along with other things. Very convenient to DC Metro. There are...continued
