This is now my favorite DC museum! My husband, daughter and I had so much fun going through the exhibits...A lot of interactive stuff...I wouldn't bring anyone under middle school age...They wouldn't understand it...

Everything was great! The only thing is that I wish I had more time to see everything. The website said it closed at 8p.m. on the day I attended, but in fact, they closed at 7p.m.

Great Historical Museum for Criminal events. I didn't think it was the best for the 8 and under crowd - Lots of information they didn't need to be exposed to - but, my 7 & 8 year olds really enjoyed it. They raced to each new section to answer...continued

I took my wife to the Crime Museum because she is a HUGE fan of those police drama TV shows. While there we paid an extra $5 a piece to take part in the "CSI Experience." It was well worth it! If you enjoy CSI, NCIS, or any other police dramas,...continued

It is a museum. There will be lots of reading, be mindful if taking small children. Great for people who enjoy history.

My 14-year-old daughter calls it "funtastic"--you learn about many aspects of crime-solving and punishment (not all of it suitable for young children, however), and the interactive displays are both enjoyable and educational. We both look forward...continued

My family of four loved the CSI Experience. We purchased the fingerprinting crime lab add-on for $5 each and enjoyed it as well. The America's Most Wanted Bolo alert was too...Funny!!!! Glad we had the opportunity to scratch this off the bucket...continued

My friend and I had a great time! There is a lot of reading thought, so if you are not fluent in English you might not understand everything. But it is very interesting and I would definitly recommend it!

Not raving about it but it was a very extensive exhibition with some interactive exercises for the kids. I think this is popular with children because there is so much gore tastefully explained, and they have some fun things to show: Ted Bundy's...continued

Very rewarding experience. Everything from conspiracies, infamous mobsters, unsolved crimes and the America's Most Wanted live set. It was exciting and I would definitely advise others to check it out at their leisure.

We spent about four hours at the National Museum of Crime and Punishment. It's a great museum and it encompasses the entire history of law enforcement in the United States.

As a long-time DC resident, I took advantage of a "comp" offer to visit this museum so that I could advise out of town guests on whether to go. It's ok I guess - but I got bored with it, and it's not likely I will recommend this museum to many...continued

My parents were visiting and they'd done a lot of the touristy things here in DC before so we were looking for something new to do. We loved this museum! The 2nd floor (where you begin) was our favorite! So much history and so well laid out! ...continued
