We upgraded for an extra 5 dollars a person and did the audio tour. It was soo worth it. We have been museum hoping all week and this saved us from reading every little bit of information and gave us much more. This was on our top 5 things we...continued

We went on a Friday around 7ish after work..
There was no line & only a few kids running around
We basically had the museum to ourselves to enjoy

The exhibits were great & the Car Chase/Gun Simulation room was an extra bonus!!

Covered all the bases, was good to see once but don't think I would go do it again.

exciting, in-depth view into all perspectives of law, crime, enforcement, and punishment. Not for the faint of heart.

Give yourself at least 2 hrs if you really want to read everything in the museum. Try there mini games such as shooting and driving.

Great museum! Everything was very well exhibited. Like others have said, it took us quite some time (4 hours) just to get through the first floor - we didn't realize there was more than one floor! Admittedly, we do read almost everything there...continued

Great. I absolutely loved it. I'm going back, because I didn't spend the time I wanted to. There are so many cool things to see. I spent 2hrs there and that wasn't nearly enough time to really take in everything. Block out a day and pay a visit.

I took my 10 and 14 year old nieces and they enjoyed the interactive exhibits. I myself enjoyed learning a few things. It was time well spent. I would defenitely go again.

Lots to see. Not a museum you can just spend an hour touring. After playing with some of the displays and reading intersting facts, I realized it was getting dark outside. I probably spent about 2 1/2 hours and I only because I stopped reading...continued

My dad was quite upset for not being able to take his afternoon siesta, but once we walked in this place he forgot he was sleepy. My parents had a great time. Since they don't speak English, all the visuals for them were great..

My favorite museum. So cool, so fun. Expect to spend a lot of time going through the exhibits and reading all the factoids.

My husband and I go to museums often and have seen almost all of the "new" additions in D.C. but we think the Crime and Punishment museum is one of the very best. It took us well over 2 hrs to cover just one floor though, so we're planning another...continued

Really cool. Our kids loved it! Although,I would recommend it for kids 8 and up. There is a lot of reading (like most museums).

The museum could be interesting if it organized the information and examined issues around crime and punishment, but instead it's just a bunch of random stuff (too much stuff and way too random) to read with no rhyme or reason. It was also not...continued

The museum is surprisingly extensive! And well-presented, with a rich mixture of interpretive tools, including photos, interactive quizzes, sound, music, text and a terrific array of historic original artifacts. A satisfying combination of...continued

This museum was the favorite of our family for our whole vacation. It had something for everyone in our family from age 54 to 8. We especially enjoyed the interactive driving for a police cruiser and the shooting range. My kids couldn't get...continued

This museum is great if you like that kind of stuff. I went with my boyfriend who was interested in the topic. The museum is very well done for what it is.

Took my family and teenage friend on New Year's eve. Everyone enjoyed it. Only wished we had more time - as all the other reviews mentioned to have. Need about 3 hours to almost leisurely walk through. Enjoyed the few solo interactive activities.
