Superbly trained, exuberant dancers with wonderful choreography, arguably one of the best modern dance companies in the world. I am originally from Chicago and have enjoyed Hubbard Street for some time, especially at their own theater within...continued

The quality of the dancing was excellent. The choice of three choreographers, all quite morose in their shared themes of negative expectation in human interaction combined with dull lighting and drab costumes, kept the evening from being...continued

I promise that from now on I will read reviews and preview the music for dance concerts. The dancers were extremely talented but the first two dances were just too avant gard for my family and the music was not something we could enjoy. My own...continued

It was nice to see Hubbard Street back performing in LA; it's been too long since their last appearance here.

Really disappointed! So boring! Way too expensive, even with the Goldstar discount, to drive out to the Ahmanson to be bored for 2 1/2 hours! Not usually this critical of stuff at the Ahmanson, but this was pretty bad.

What a splendid company – so athletic, finely trained, musical; wonderful, inventive choreography, gorgeous music. The dancers seem to move organically in such an unrestricted way. Hubbard St. Dance Company deserves a longer run in L.A.

Hubbard Street Dance was very good, athletic, creative and beautiful to watch. Would definitely go to see them again.

The dancers are superb. Unlike the programmatic dreck we get served by ABT, serious if somewhat dry choreography in the first 2 pieces, and a lively crowd pleaser for the end. Unlike the other review I read, the audience on Saturday was very...continued

Go only if you love modern dance. The dancers were beautiful, the cheoreograpy diverse and the music was lovely. If you are not into modern dance or do not have an open mind to a kind of dance other than hip hop or broadway dance , stay home - it...continued

Superb, world class dancers throughout.
First two pieces, "Tabula Rasa" by Naharin - old indulgent modern dance - plodding - dull - nonspecific. "27'52" by Jiri Kylian, - slightly less dull - but not by much.
Final piece, "Walking Mad"...continued

A thoroughly enjoyable event. A mixture of modern dance and classical ballet. Loved the props (the marley flooring in the second piece and the fence in the third) that were partners and added richness to the dances.

First Act was acceptable; it was Acts Two and Three which were truly stupendous. Hubbard should be very proud of its dancers. Conversely, the dance audience was unappreciative and possible one of the most uneducated audiences with which I have...continued

I thoroughly enjoyed the performance that was given and am glad I went. The choreography was fantastic and the dancers were exceptional. Thank you Goldstar for selling tickets to this show.
