If it's programming by Cinefamily, it's worth seeing. It may suck, it may be great, but it's always going to get you thinking and talking, and it's always worth your time.

I know it won at award at Cannes last year, but it was one of the most irritating movies I've seen since "Upstream Color." Animal lovers will want to avoid this movie at all costs - the animal abuse scenes were almost more than I could bear.

It was great fun seeing all those old animated commercials from the 1950s and 1960s, many of which were produced by major studios such as Disney, UPA, etc. I hope they run a program like this again in the future.

The comfy chairs in the theater...continued

I was too much in a hurry, didn't read the fine print. So, I assumed all movies would be silent movies but they are not. The night we went it was a foreign film...which, I don't mind either its just not what I expected. So, I was bummed...wanted...continued

Fab. evening. A unique theatre with a unique presentation. Film shorts, live music by an extraordinary performer, Kevin, and even repection in the theatre's courtyard afterward!

This Experience in what appears to be Japanese culture, was different nd I must say very enjoyable. I am not sure exactly what i found to be captivating,as The ways of thought were unusual campared to how I think.

Always a unique outing to this eclectic venue. One tip: the regular seats are old-fashioned and small for today's big butts. For another $5 you can sit on the comfy couches up front.

The sound on the print of Phantasm had a hiss throughout that was very distracting, so that was a shame, but I imagine this was the best print they had available, so what can you do? We still had a great time. It was such a treat seeing the Q &...continued

I've always wanted to check out this theater because my wife and I have been wanting to watch a silent film. We scored on some free street meter parking since it was late. Otherwise, you can park across the street on the east side of Fairfax in...continued

Great venue. So much fun seeing this silent documentary with live musical score. Yea, you can watch it on youtube, but seeing it on the big screen rocks!

This movie is amazing. Words fail me. Japanese up-skirt kung-fu love story. It's like a pinata--what more candy? more? and little toys? Amazing.

I always love going to the Cinefamily. Only thing I missed this time was the late great Bob Mitchell at the organ. They had a very good live pianist, but Bob was the real deal.

Jerry Beck and company always put on the best shows they possibly can and there is always a surprise or two. This was not just a screening but an event and the house was packed. Watching cartoons ion a theater with an aprreciative audience is...continued
