This was our first time at The Cinefamily. We found "A Labor of Love" very entertaining. This was a brilliant concept--watching a very inept attempt at doing porno by a group that had no clue how to do it. The Q & A afterward was also very...continued

Fantastic movie (we saw the dubbed version of Spirited Away), knowledgeably introduced, comfortable seats, friendly crowd. One of the projectors wasn't working, so there were brief delays between reels; no one seemed to mind, and it was fun...continued

Very good venue for it brings you back through time. We watched Charlie Chaplin and they chose one of the best of his movies. Highly recommended. It's completely a different experience. It's like experiencing 1930's without being there.

Make no mistake- the film is INCREDIBLE. The amount of archival and never-before-seen footage is astounding and it's weaved together brilliantly. However, the crowd began to get restless after the THIRD time the screen went to black at the end...continued

Positively BLOWN AWAY. I had bought tickets to the LA Film Fest screening downtown a week ago and I somehow lost the tickets right before going into the theater. Low and behold, I got an email alert about it showing at the Silent Movie Theater...continued

There is parking at a small lot across the street but the lot is closed later in the night so it could be a problem if you see a later screening. Street parking is metered but ends at 8pm. The theater is really awesome and and well kept. The...continued

It was a lot of fun. Greg is great (I'm a big fan of "whose line is it anyway?"). Worth the drive from Long Beach.

Love the Silent Treatment evenings! The movies are rare gems and wonderful to see on a big screen with live music.

This was my first experience at the Silent Movie Theatre since the Cinefamily took over and God knows their programming is original and quite a boon to the L.A. cinema scene, but my backside simply could not take a 4 hour movie (Love Exposure) in...continued

Cinefamily is a genuine LA gem. TV Tuesdays has been a surprisingly good curated oddities show. Consistently worthwhile and unique :)
