I enjoyed the small theater's intimate setting. Members, get comfy priority seating near the screen.

I had a fantastic time watching Faces on the big screen. Not only that, Seymour Cassell himself was in attendance (unannounced, friend of Cinefamily it seems) and he gave a nice intro and was in attendance to meet/greet. Really great night.

I'm a huge fan of silent films and so many are out-of-print. This theater is a treasure! The lobby and theater itself are beautiful. The film prints are very good. The seats are comfy. It made for a great date night!

It was the film that gets the five stars but the theater is neat too. The Executive Director did a great introduction prior to the film and the quality of the screening was very good.

The Cinefamily is hands-down my favorite cinematheque in Los Angeles. Cinefamily operates out of the old Silent Movie Theater on Fairfax, but most screenings nowadays are not silent films. Cinefamily is run by a bunch of fun-loving film nerds...continued

The movie was AWESOME!! The seating at The Silent Movie Theater always leaves a bit to be desired, especially for a movie that runs 237 minutes, but the movie was so great that it was worth it.

The Silent Treatment events are always well put together, with excellent speakers. The film was good, not great, but had excellent production design and costumes. It was a packed house too.

We Angelenos are very fortunate that Cinefamily exists. These screenings are a fantastic opportunity to see work that's not available elsewhere.

Wonderful evening featuring 91 year old Diana Sera Cary, aka Baby Peggy, in an entertaining and informative question and answer session. The two shorts shown were quite cute, and the feature starring her and Hobart Bosworth was very moving. The...continued

Am a big fan of foreign films so it was a delight for me. Parking was right in front too bad I didn't get to sit in the comfort of one of the couches but there is always another time

I thought I already knew everything about Hitchcock (having taken an advanced university class on his work) but this obscure stuff was fun and interesting to watch. This event, which catered to the fan, was presented in an informative way similar...continued

I took my 11 year old son. We saw a comedy silent film and we both enjoyed it. It started at 8:00 p.m.. unfortunately we were both too sleepy to stay for the double feature, but will definitely attend again.
