Dancers were great. Venue seats weren't stadium seating so it was very hard to see. Sat on my legs to try and see over the guy in front of me. They deserve a better venue.

Family friendly event, the dancers were amazing, I only wish the scenery was better. I will say my family enjoyed the snow in the auditorium.

Pros: Beautiful music, dancing and costumes. The show, when I could see it, was phenomenal! I highly recommend the production to anyone that loves ballet, and especially, The Nutcracker.

Cons: The venue, in many ways, is beautiful... but...continued

The show was great, very talented dancers. But the location was bad. It is not stage seating , basically just regular chairs. So if you take a child they wont be able to see if there is a tall person in front.

This was the first time I'd seen anything by the Anaheim Ballet and, to be honest, I wasn't expecting much (just wanted to get in the Christmas spirit and see 'The Nutcracker' somewhere, and tickets were cheap, after all). While the Tier 1 seats...continued

I agree with the other reviewer on the very poor seating - single folding chairs on a nearly flat floor made the venue uncomfortable and almost impossible to see the stage over top of the heads of people in front of you. To compensate for poor...continued

The Grove has to be the worst venue possible for ballet/live theatre.
Could not see because of the seating set up, and of course in ballet, seeing is "hearing" the story unfold.
A complete waste of time and money!

The production was great! The costumes were beautiful!! Seating was horrible. No one in the 3rd tier could see. Moved to the back after intermission.

This is the first time we attend a showing of The Nutcracker, we have seen it at the movies but never live. It was nice to see ballerinas from ages 9 and up, the coordination, costumes and the choreography was incredible.

I got Tier 1 seats which were on the flat floor so I ended up pretty close to the stage - good. The seating was folding chairs all the same level - bad. The ballet was well-done I thought, a bit amateurish at times but you could tell that they...continued

The performance of the Anaheim group deserved a better rating than what we gave them BECAUSE we coiuld not see the perfromers very well. Our grandaughter finally moved to the side and stood leaning against the bars to see anything. IF there was...continued

This is a sub-par production of the Nutcracker. The sets and scenery were pathetic. The dancers were ok (not great) but I couldn't figure out why Clara kept inserting herself into the dances in the Second Act ??? Clara is supposed to sit there...continued

I would never go back to any event at the Grove of Anaheim. It was our first event there so I didn't know what to expect. All seating is set up in rows with banquet chairs. It is actually like a giant banquet room. Children who came looking...continued

Fantastic dancers and staging; very professional. A must see for every holiday season! I sat in the back of the 2nd tier and could see everything. It isn't stadium seating so I would try to get a seat in the 1st or 2nd tier. $10 for parking, cash...continued
