The main purpose for our visit was for my daughter. She LOVED it and was mesmerized.
I agree with the other review that the seating needs to be a little better.
The staff was WONDERFUL, too.

As others stated, the seating & view were the things most disappointing. I sat in the last row of Tier 1, and luckily most of the people in front of me were short, so I could somewhat see the stage. The sound/acoustics were poor. No surround...continued

The performance was better than I expected. The venue is not right for ballet though. Considering what I paid for it, I cannot complain anything. There is $10 parking fee.

I have seen many performances of the Nutcracker in my lifetime but, by far, The Anaheim Ballet Company was the very best. From the childrens performances to the adult performances the perfection of the dance was incredible. The set design and...continued

The show was great, this was my first ballet show and I enjoyed it very much. Lots of colors and dances. The only thing I didn't like was the seating, I was expecting something different. The place is set up in 4 seating parts and each part is...continued

i agree the performance seemed like it was good, but we really couldn't see anything...we left at intermission. I was very disappointed in this venue and would not go again unless i had seats very close to stage.

The actual performance was lovely. However the seating was pretty bad. Worse because I'm not short. Also, it is not stadium seating so we could not see the stage at all. The staff was able to move a few people's chairs off to the side but when...continued

I agree with others as well. The venue was the wrong place for a ballet or any time of play. The seating was horrible for viewing the stage and the chairs were very uncomfortable. The props could have been nicer. The performace itself was really...continued

I copied someelses review below, but need to add my own 2cents as well. It was not suitable venue seating to enjoy such an event. My 6 yr child along with many other children could not see a thing. I spent the whole time with him on my lap and...continued

The Ballet Company was very good and what we could see of the show was very entertaining, however, the venue itself left much to be desired! It was very difficult to see the stage from our seats and it seemed that most seats were just as...continued

All three of my granddaughters enjoyed the performance, and there was a nice selection of snacks offered at intermission. Also, there is a nice room where we could sit and relax before the performance or during intermission.

Aside from the obvious fact (as also described by other attendees) that the venue was simply awful, the choreography was amiss, to say the least. I've seen many, many productions of this ballet, from the ABT and other U.S. national troupes to...continued

The beginning video segments before the first and second act after the intermission were a bit cheesy. I think it lessened the value of the show a little bit. But I Loved the SNOW effect in the audience! It was nice that the dancers came out to...continued

The show was great! The dancers were excellent, and the scenery was beautiful. I will certainly think about going back next year. I forgot that the Grove doesn't really have tiered seating, so being in the back made it hard to see, but thye did...continued

This performance was not very good. The lighting was bad, there was a scene where they dropped Snow in the audience and my entire hair was wet and covered with drops of soap, it was horrible had I known this, I probably would have never sit in...continued

Good family fun, but the seating made it hard to see everything that was going on. It was my first time seeing the Nutcracker and I enjoyed it.

This event was a very amateure production. I am sure all the cast put a lot of hard work into it and had I know it was a community production I would have had different expectations. However when parking is $10 and each ticket was $18 with fees I...continued
