Dance Place Presents Exciting and Original Performances Reviews & Ratings
This group of dancers from NYC showed wonderful
creativity and cohesiveness. I especially enjoyed the group as a whole dancing. I will look forward to seeing them again when I visit NYC or when they
return to DC.
I could tell the passion for dance there, the people were nice, and the dancers worked hard. The overall show itself was amateur.report as inappropriate
Outstanding pair of dance companies (Word Dance and DancEthos)!report as inappropriate
Riveting production. Bamuthi is a true performance artist, not to be missed.report as inappropriate
An extraordinary performance by two great movers working together for the first time. A melding and enhancing of their disparate styles. Incredibly inventive 'sets'. The music enhanced the performance--not just a backdrop.report as inappropriate

It's not a lot of dance, very nice place, but mostly interesting for children to learn hip hop.report as inappropriate
The dancing was excellent. The choreography was nontraditional, and I enjoyed about two thirds of the program.report as inappropriate
Tzveta and Naoko were genius!report as inappropriate

sort of cute but not as much dance as I'd expectedreport as inappropriate
The creativity and passion that went into this production was vivid.
The unfolding of the stories of each family could have left me feeling sad or even disconnected, however, I left the theatre feeling inspired to live my life more authentically.
