I highly recommend this show for the whole family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc.

The MeshugaNutcracker" offers a delightful night of musical theater, with a different spin to Tchaikovsky’s music and Chanukah. The show has an amazing...continued

Loved it!
Hilarious and touching, with great costumes (oh, the challah hat!), original songs, choreography and fun working in of the Tchaikovsky score (some, not all, of course).
A new holiday tradition for my family.
Only regret - friends in...continued

We thoroughly enjoyed this! The cast was very talented & the mix of silliness & seriousness held our attention throughout. I highly recommend this.

This event did not live up to expectations. We found it very boring, difficult to follow since the words were not always clearly heard and we left at intermission.

The advertisement lead to believe that this would be a musical performance as shown in the flyer. Instead we had 8 actors-singers standing in a row on stage and reading from their script book the story. The picture enclosed and costumes shown...continued

I was put off by the misrepresentation of the advertisement. The photo shows the cast in very colorful costumes with musical instruments. It looks quite whimsical. It was NOT. The cast did a fine "performance" but mostly stood motionless in...continued

Great performance, amazing voices.
Very friendly staff and a great environment.

Too bad the theater will be demolished.
Best of luck in finding a new home soon, so we all can enjoy more performances.

The cast of The MeshugaNutcracker! put their all into this production. It's colorful. It's loud. It makes a joyful noise. This musical is largely based on the Chelm stories of Isaac Bashevis Singer and it's a valiant attmept to make some sort of...continued

Top notch performers. Too bad the sound was so loud that there voices were over powered by the sound system. The place is so small that no sound system was needed for the power these performers were able to produce.
Very lively performance with...continued

the show was ok. The voices were good.
Latkes and donuts filled with jelly were sold in the lobby.

My biggest problem was that the singers did not know the text. They constantly read from their binders... Not seeing their eyes looking...continued

Really fun production. Great costumes. Cute concept. And it was just nice to have a Channukah theme show that the kids could enjoy. We especially liked that jelly donuts and latkas were available in the concession and there were Channukah...continued

Reminded me of Pee Wee's Playhouse without Chairy.

The cast did a great job humoring us while telling the story of Hanukkah and singing to the tunes of the Nutcracker. Loved the costumes too. The Retro Dome is a great venue!

Singing was excellent. Audio was a little garbled at times and the show dragged a little.

The actors/singers were sitting and reading off their scripts the entire show. There was no set. Horrible and a total rip off at $27 a ticket!!

It was a delightful spoof describing the Hanukah description and history of how this holiday came to be. I learned a lot and enjoyed it. The actors were good, the singing was good, the venue very intimate which I enjoyed. I think that it was a fun...continued

Talented group of people singing clever Chanukah lyrics with Nutcracker music.
A good weaving of history, tragedy, comedy.
