I really wanted to like this play. The acting was certainly solid but much of the humor was flat. By the second act about a good third of the audience was sleeping. The pay had some good scenes and a disturbing story arc, but overall characters...continued

This play isn't for everyone. The reward comes at the David Mamet like ending. No one fell asleep as mentioned in a previous review. How can one do so when this play is so action packed? Maybe because it starts a little later than most...continued

Some of the best acting I've seen at Studio--or, for that matter, in DC. Loved the in-the-round seating, being so close to the actors. They were amazing. The whole cast.

The writing is a little like Joe Orton, a little like Martin...continued

A very strong second act which made the first act more believable and understandable.

Not for everyone, but if you like dark humor (and can take a few naughty words and a bit of violence) you won't be disappointed. I don't expect to see a better ensemble cast anytime soon. We'll be hearing about this one again during awards...continued

Powerful acting with an unpredictable storyline and well executed script, which I enjoyed. The acting and subject matter is gutsy so it is not for the easily offended. The first time at this venue which is artsy and professional.

The actors were good but for some reason, I didn't love the play. I think it comes from the writing which doesn't allow for a change in the characters' emotions. The story is disturbing and bloody but not incredibly intesresting.

My date and I found this play very irritating and left at intermission. I frequently go the theater (particularly Studio, Wooly Mammoth, and Signature) so I am used to a variety of types of plays. While the acting and staging were good, the play...continued

Terrific ensemble acting. Edgy, tensely atmospheric show.

This was a really well-written and well-acted play. The dialogue is super quick and reminded me of Pulp Fiction or the British director Guy Ritchie. It's essentially a pulp mystery novel brought to life on stage with really interesting...continued
