Completely disappointed by this show. The sound was terrible, don't know if it was the cast or the venue. Didn't care for the story line and wasn't at all moved. If it comes back, I say skip it

First rate production from what I could tell from the horrible seat i had. Never going to go to this venue again unless i know where my seat will be. Could not see faces. Left at intermission to go home and listen to the rest of the cast album.

It was good but we sat 3 rows from the very back,. I guess thats why we got such a good deal. I did not appreciate some of the nude scenes but thankful our son 16 did not go with us. He would not have like that at all. All in all I enjoyed it...continued

The singing was excellent however the show seemed to be a string of one song after another without really developing and presenting a story line. As someone who had never seen the movie or any other presentations of Hair, I had a hard time getting...continued

"Hair" was a play we had missed years ago and one that my husband always wanted to view. It was a real trip back to the 60"s. would not reccomend it unless one was in tune with that era. Was fun wathching lots of the "old" hippies attending in...continued

A great energetic night, with a poignant message. The show works without being dated because it is more of a look back to the hippie movement. Some of the lyrics and story are hard to follow if you aren't paying attention to the vernacular or the...continued

I did also think it was quite liberal but that's what the 60's were all about so you have to be prepared for that. I enjoyed the music and high energy dancing and singing.

I felt the storyline was weak and the nudity was unnecessary. I wouldn't recommend this to my friends.

I last saw HAIR in 1969 on Broadway. I remember loving it but not much else. I think i know why now! It is really a pretty awful musical.... maybe the worst I have ever seen!
I suspect the latest cast is just as good as the 1969 originals, it...continued

I liked the production, the performances were excellent, the score rocked, and the set was acceptable for a touring show. However, I think Segerstrom Hall is a little too big of a venue for this show. The staging was good but it sometimes felt...continued

My friend & I saw the show in L.A. Loved it so much that with the great Goldstar price, did a bit of a road trip with another friend to see it again in Orange County. Although they had a stand-in for one of the main characters, everyone's voices...continued

The musical was everything that i thought it would be and MORE!!! My husband and i "dressed up" for the occassion and were a hit. There were a few people who left after the first Act. They should have actually found out what the Musical was...continued

Unless you lived thru the 60's, Hair is presented without context....my twenty year-old did not understand what was going on. For him, it was like watching Les Miserables but take out all the social context.

Very disappointed in seats. Difficult to see. Show was disappointing and dated. Will never purchase theatre tickets again without knowing what seats I will be getting. Definately disappointing overall.

We saw the Play in Chicago in the early 70's . Still enjoyed every minute. Sad to say the message is still with us with the different wars still going on and young people dying.
