Great song selections. But the bass is way too loud, kind of cover up his lovely voice. Love it when he came down the stage and had the audience to sing along with him. Fun!

The show was just ok, and I was expecting more-because it has been around and received many raves. It is just Piper speaking in a British accent and telling highlights of the familiar story (getting a few details wrong or out of chronology)...continued

I felt we really watching John Lennon himself. The video in the background made it feel that much more real. If you like the Beatles and John Lennon this play is a must!

I thought I would like this 'concert' but I loved it! If you grew up listening to the Beatles, you will totally enjoy yourself. Learned more about John Lennon than I ever knew or have since forgotten. Interesting and fun. He brought the...continued

If what you're hoping for is a guy who looks and sounds enough like Lennon to allow you to suspend disbelief for a couple of hours and hear his life story in words and music, then buy tickets immediately.

I loved the show!!!!! The lead was so comfortable in his role, you felt like it was really John Lennon. It brought me back in time and I learned what inspired him to write each of his songs. The music was great! This is a must see show!

Excellent show tho the theater felt a bit shabby.. We arrived late and they had given our front center seats away and we had to sit in the back row but I was relieved as the speakers were blasting and I would have probably not enjoyed it as much...continued

The loudness of the "music" was deafening. Words could not be discerned and the evening was one huge nightmare headache.

This was a lot of fun with interesting points about Lennon's life. Just bring some earplugs cause it's pretty loud.

I respect the artist, but not for one minute was I convinced I was listening to Lennon. We left at intermission.

Very moving performance. Tim Piper captured the essence of John Lennon brilliantly, and turned what could easily have been a "cheesy" production into an emotional look at the life of a legend. Musicians were terrific and engaging, as well.

If I was just rating Tim Piper, I would give him five stars, but the venue was terrible. Last year I saw him at Platinum in Studio City. A very high end supper club. It was intimate, and very comfortable. The Hayworth is a run down theatre...continued

My fiance is a huge Beatles fan so this was a must see for him. I recommend getting there early because there aren't assigned seats so my party wasn't seated together. Great music, production was well done.
