A delightfully fun show with some nice witty surprises and hilarious musical numbers. Of course, you have to go in with the right expectations. This is a musical premiere in a community theater production, so it's not super-tight or...continued

The story was great and had so much potential, I just felt they could have done so much more with it. So I give three stars mostly because the music, songs and overall acting was sub-par. One or two of the actors were absoltely brilliant and if...continued

The performers all did an outstanding job, but the script does not come close to matching the quality of Seattle Musical Theatre. There were moments that were inspired and funny, but other parts were amateurish and embarrassing. It was more like...continued

Michael Govier, (Writer, Director, Producer) has a hit here. He indicates The Kings Proposal is destined for stage in Chicago in 2012. As with any work in progress, refinements will happen, BUT this production is funny, moralistic (to a degree),...continued

I really can't put my finger on it - just very mediocre -songs,arrangements, costumes (eg.the princess could have been dressed in something a little nicer than a short "nightgown"). Maybe script should have been "tighter" or more background...continued

Perfect for kids and adults! We laughed from beginning to end. After reading some reviews I was not expecting much, but this was a great show.

The King's Proposal was alright. I couldn't help but feel that I was watching a college production. The cast did the best with what they were given but the music isn't very good. There are a few good songs (most come in the second act) but most...continued

This musical was hysterical. The story was very clever, and the music and actors were great. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to Broadway. I am happy I saw this play and would see it again.

Hilarious musical comedy. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Top quality voices, acting and live orchestra. Excellent production and original musical script.

I especially enjoyed Guido and the marionette.

I would recommend this...continued

Some of the singing was very good (the princess really stood out) and Guido was fun, but the play fell flat for me. The performances were OK, but most of the humor depended on slapstick when I was expecting farce.

not knowing anything about the show, I didn't have any preconceived expectations about the production. I can without any hesitation say this was an outstanding musically comedic romp that never let up for more than a moment or two. Bravo to the...continued
