Stage production was...well what stage production?

Costumes, er...aside from the supporting cast, what costumes? Couild someone PLEASE tell me why does Radames (the Captain) is wearing an outfit out...continued

Excellent casting, powerful voices, poignant acting, captivating story. I loved the show and the score. I disagree with RL's review. The costumes, music, script and staging are purposefully geared to complement this pop-culture version of AIDA. ...continued

Can I give this a 4.5? Strong voices. Nice, charismatic stage presence. Overall, very enjoyable production. Not bothered by the modern set, and what some found to be incongruous costuming. It's about the story and the singers' beautiful...continued

Much of the music was great, but Radames and Amneris simply were not engaging characters. And their costumes, leather pants and a chest exposing jacket for him and contemporary, glittery, slinky gown for her?! We needed to keep the Egyptian...continued

Scenery was sparce - the mobile pyramid was very random. Not sure why Radames was dressed by the Gap while all the other Egyptians wore traditional robes. He looked out of place. Very good singing but emotional connections within the love triangle...continued

It was just okay. The singing was beautiful but the choreography was a little hokey.

The music and storyline are incredibly powerful, and this production matched it with strong vocal leads and a solid dancing ensemble. The staging, as has been reviewed by others, left a bit to be desired (who blocks a song with the leads turned...continued

Went with my 17 year old daughter, it was okay. I hate to say that because I do think there were some very strong performers and the majority of the dancing was amazing. Have to admit that some of the staging was just so wrong that my mind would...continued

It was OK - 3 of 5 stars. Costumes virtaully non-existent. The music was probably good, but someone needs to remind the director that, with today's technology, it is not necessary for the singer's to SCREAM to reach the back row. I WAS in the...continued

I just saw the beginning of a previous review, and I expect I probably agree:

While I could probably wax poetic on all of the faults, it boils down to this being a total mish-mash.

On the good side, there was an interesting play off the...continued

The 2 lead female voices are outstanding. Lead male is average. I did not know the story line before seeing the event......different twist, but a typical sad love story.
