Needs work. Was unintentionally amusing. Too bad. This theatre usually does good work.

This really had nothing to do with Lavendar Love. I think they just used that as a pretext to get an audience in West Hollywood. Instead it was about some ridiculous time travel. A waste of money.

This was the worst piece of crap I have ever seen and I've seen bad productions before. I'm sorry to the actors and they did try their best but other than the costumes being fantastic, there is absolutely nothing redeeming about this show. Only...continued

Misleading ad. Not a story about what was going on in Hollywood but about a lost in time traveler who ends up with four people from the era, only one of whom is recognizable (Rudolph Valentino). Ghastly - writing, acting, story, directing. I...continued

Thank God the tickets I got were Free, or else I would have stormed out in the middle of this farce and demanded a refund. Actually, I wish I could demand Goldstar to reimburse me for the Service Charge! Writing was bad, and the acting was...continued

5 minutes into this play i was trying to figure out how to leave the theater without being rude. the theater is small so it would not go unnoticed. i did not have the heart, so i remained in my seat.. it never got better only worse, but the good...continued

I never post reviews except in extraordinary cirmcumstances. In fact, the only one I've posted before was a rave for a play that was extraordinarily good but unheralded. The case with Lavender is the opposite. It is an extraordinarily bad,...continued

We went to this show and many others through Goldstar to support local theater. We fully understand that it is crap shoot and can be hit or miss. Boy was this a miss!! I am torn in even suggesting you go to support the theater as it would keep the...continued

I enjoyed it for what it was as an evening of light, cult theatre. It was no more or less than I expected (this company is not known for great scripts or productions). Not great history, but nonetheless lightly enjoyable. I will go again to see...continued

Certainly a very different perspective on this topic....time travel! It was silly but entertaining!

My first visit to this historic theater. "Lavender Love" is a campy play presented on an imaginative set and with great period costumes.

Odalys Nanin and Stephanie Ann Saunders were excellent , Drew Hinckley quite good and the rest of the cast...continued

The only good thing about the show is it only 60 minutes in duration. However, it was still 55 minutes too long.

Not worth seeing. The play did not work and the staging was difficult. The costumes were good. The acting was done with bad material. The transition from modern to period was ridiculous.

I bought the tix before there were any reviews to read. My husband and I were about to head over when I decided to check the reviews first. After reading them, we decided to stay in and rent a movie. I put 2 stars so as not to upset the balance...continued

This play was very poorly written - like something put together by high school drama students. Maybe worse. A couple of the actors were good, but most of the performances were very forgettable. The costumes were great, particularly the women's,...continued

I normally just go ahead and write my review without reading other people's reactions, but I thought in this case I'd just give a glance at what other viewers are saying. I have to agree with most of them. This is weak, unsatisfying, sophomoric...continued

The early Hollywood lavender marriages that were performed to cover up homosexual relationships is a truly fascinating topic that went nowhere & was absolutely wasted on this production. And how about having a tie-in to modern day life with a...continued

The writing was poor, it was a very silly premise, not at all what I was expecting.
Poor direction and very amateur acting
with few exceptions. I could not recommend this show to anyone.
On a positive note the costumes were gorgeous.
