This was an over the top experience for my 11 year old fisherman and in the city no less!! provided a city experience yet "wild" enough for my son who loves to fish!! highly recommended for anyone who wants to see a "wild" side in the city!

An enjoyable and highly informative couple of hours. I look forward to taking another, different, tour with Kirk. Well-done.

Despite it being a cold, rainy afternoon, we had a great time! Kirk is engaging, full of knowledge and fun tidbits and stories. The time flew by, and we learned about crab fishing, hawaiian net throwing, and poke poling for eels. Everything...continued

Fantastic tour! My husband hates seafood, but after attending this class, he is keen for some crabbing and getting Kirk's fantastically fresh seafood once a week!

Great experience. Learned a lot about the SF Bay and how to catch crab, fish, and find seaweed, etc. Very thorough and helpful. Very much worth doing. Kirk is very enthusiastic about foraging and has great insights into doing this in a...continued

Great value, would recommend it only to people with strong interest in fishing. Needs to be more kinetic, more hands-on, and more visual. Kirk was overall an excellent guide and entertainer.

In a very humorous and captivating fashion Kirk went on incessantly, thoroughly describing local species, regulations guarding them, and politically correct techniques behind artisanal fishery. This is a tour for any individual concerned or to any...continued

It was raining cats and dogs, so I called Kirk to see if we could reschedule. He refused to do so. I understand that he is trying to make a living, but felt that he should have a more flexible policy regarding rainy days, since there aren't that...continued

Kirk is a passionate, energetic, knowledgeable fella. He loves what he does and he's darn good at it. He had us casting Hawaiian throw nets and believing one day we'd be out on the gravely beaches catching night smelt. I learned so much like we...continued

Kirk is extremely informative and it was great to discover what you can dig/fish up just in the Marina alone.

PLenty of parking, at the lighthouse. Don't need the boots. Very windy, layer your clothing. He is long on explanations, too much technical. Not enough visual. I was bored and left early. He is an expert on fishing and is happy to let you...continued

A fun tangential romp. Kirk's encyclopedic knowledge of the bay and it's fishery is matched by his rollicking free form, at times wandering delivery. He has great stories, an interesting perspective, and a factoid for everything coastal. Who knew...continued
