Kirk is knowledgable however, when I go on a natural history tour where I've been asked to wear rubber boots, I don't expect to be standing for 2 hours in a parking lot listening to someone talk.

Kirk is not only knowledgeable but highly entertaining. I have lived in San Francisco and worked on the waterfront for many years but still learned a tremendous amount from this informative event. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like...continued

Kirk Lombard takes the mystery out of finding delicacies of the ocean; it's not as difficult as you would think -- just some hard work and inventive equipment. Very enjoyable as Kirk is outgoing, personable, entertaining and knowledgeable. I will...continued

Kirk really knows his stuff and his passion (obsession?) for all things aquatic really shows. I appreciated his willingness to answer any question tour members had and basically tailor the tour to the interests of his audience.

Kirk was awesome! He is passionate about what he does, and it shows. He revealed a whole new natural world that sits literally steps away from our city-dweller world. In the Marina he hauled in several Dungeness crabs (and threw them back,...continued

Kirk's passion is infectious! I liked his tips on local mom & pop's "tackle shops." He also has great stories about selling his catch to restaurants.

Knowledgeable, friendly, informative and fun. I've lived in SF for over a decade, spend tons of time on the water and I still walked away with a boat load of cool information about the bay and coastal areas.

My son and I went for Kirk's afternoon tour. He is very knowledgeable and explains/teaches how to fish for numerous types of sea creatures. My son (10 years old) had such a great time he didn't want to leave.

Nowhere In this event did it mention that it wasn't appropriate for children. In fact, I actually spoke with Kirk before buying this to see if I had to pay for my 7 year old and 3 year old of which he had me pay for the 7yr old. Upon arriving,...continued

So fun. We flung mesh boxes dangling from fishing poles into the waves to cratch crabs. All the crabs were described. We watched him catch a Monkey Faced eel. We learned about easily picked edibles like limpets, snails and mussles. And Kirk...continued
