While the musicians & orchestra were excellent, the music was just OK. I have attended other Distinguished Concerts Int'l & liked them a lot, so I would recommend the concerts to other Goldstar members. I opted for the "Rear Orchestra or Better"...continued

This was an amazing concert. A full orchestra with TWO harps; 4 A+++ soloists; and a huge choir approaching 150-strong. They couldn't all fit on stage! It's a fairly lengthy piece, and the conductor got them through it smartly, without losing a...continued

Lovely choral concert. Both orchestra and chorus were excellent. It was an unsophisticated crowd so unfortunately there was a lot of extraneous noise - candy wrappers, program pages being flipped during the music which was frustrating. Seats...continued

Who knew that the music from a video game was really the beginnings of a much bigger work of art? The concert was really an eye opener. Christopher Tin has created a truly 'global' piece of music. It was great.

The music was awesome! This was my first opera experience. I'll definately attend another. The ONLY issue was the fact that Will Call only opens 45 mins. before the performance begins. Everyone and their mother was on line to get tix.

Got there with time to spare, but the will-call line was extremely long! However, it did move quickly. There were two Parts, each was very soothing. There was a guy in Part 2 in the choir who such a huge afro. My friend and I couldn't help but...continued

I had a wonderful time listening to all the cool instruments, the choir, and opera singers. The opening piece brought me to tears. They even had a nice song piece that gave PRAISE to the LORD JESUS CHRIST, which was perfect for a Sunday.

Very different for me, but I am glad we went! Avery Fisher Hall has no electric amplification, no mics, no speakers. Old school to the max! I found it interesting to see and hear how concerts must have sounded hundreds of years ago, the orchestra...continued
