Liking choral music, I was happy to attend this event (especially at the bargain price I paid). My apartment is walking distance from Avery Fisher Hall, and the event didn't include traveling or dining out. (To me, going to Lincoln Center is...continued

Eveything went smoothly about selecting and printing the voucher, and the concert was excellent. However when we arrived at the box office we were told that 'front orchestra' tickets were not available although our voucher indicated those seats,...continued

Great introduction to the holiday season. Be prepared for a long set before intermission (at least an hour).

This is an expanded orchestration of the Messiah, with a full orchestra and huge chorus. The soloists were not as strong as they could have been, and as a result were often drowned out by the music. When the orchestra played with the full choral...continued

Beautifully done. At one point, we all stood and we watched on all sides from choral, to the fantastic four opera singers and the conductor and the orchestra. I was moved to tears. It heard wows among the audience.

I really enjoyed all the music performed at this concert, especially the new music in the second act, with all the singers from different nations. It was pretty innovative and unique. The chorus and the symphony were excellent too!

Seats were excellent. Temperature in the hall was comfortable. Sitting up front (5th. row Orchestra at Avery Fisher Hall) made for too loud listening through at least one half of the concert!

The performance lasted over 2 1/2 hours long making it a little difficult to sit through. Other than that, it was a nice night out.
