The history plays aren't my favorite although it's jazzed up a bit by some lovely songs. I still enjoyed it and there were some great performances as well as some that were more labored. I couldn't help laughing when one of the actor's French...continued

Average performances, stunning setting in a forest clearing by a babbling brook. Go for the ambiance but don't expect Oscar-worthy acting.

Sanborn Park is a beautiful location for this Shakespeare play. I enjoyed the acting in Henry V and since I had read a summary of the play, I thought it was easy to follow. There were some creative additions to the play that I thought nicely...continued

The setting is just spectacular!! Outside, under the stars, near a stream and in between large trees. The cast is huge and the acting pretty good. The one downside is the sound is a little difficult to hear in spots and of course its Shakespeare...continued

The show was very entertaining, Great Cast and easy to follow the dialog. The outdoor venue lets the mind go to be part of “Henry V” time period.

Excellent production value, strong ensemble cast with standout performances in the roles of Chorus, Mountjoy, Mistress Quickly, and Pistol. Sound was well managed, lighting was excellent for staging and ambience.

I should have brushed up on Shakespeare's dialog prior to attending the performance. . . much of the dialog was hard to hear/understand due to the rapid delivery. The open-air venue, however, was delightful!

This play was worth every penny we paid for it.
A few of the actors were fantastic (like The Chorus), others were less so. A few scenes had key players sitting, which was hard to see from the ground level seats.
The venue is great, especially...continued

The combination of the location, the cast, the story, the weather - best Shakespeare we have ever experienced.

This event held in Sanborn Park was really good. The setting couldn't be more perfect - under the stars, in nature on a warm summer evening. We brought a picnic dinner and wine so we arrived an hour early to save our seats with a blanket, then off...continued

Beautiful setting. The acting was great. Would go again. Would like to have known that we could have brought some wine and cheese with us. Next time we will take our dinner to the park earlier and enjoy the park.

I have never seen Shakespeare live and really enjoyed the show. I'm looking forward to next years production of King Lear.

I liked Henry V--pretty straight Shakespeare; good set; pleasant directing; uniformly good acting. (Glad I brought a blanket to use as a cushion; the plastic seats are very uncomfortable.) Lovely setting in the woods.

The venue was beautiful, surrounded by redwoods and oaks. The set was simple but artistic and appropriate.
The acting of the major actors, especially Henry, was average. The minor characters were charming and humorous.

A beautiful venue and an amazing play marred by less then perfect delivery. The cast made it though the play - but lacked the star power to project the grandeur of the language or the characters. Uninspired is the best I could say of the cast. ...continued

Nice live play out in the woods inside Sanborn Park. The venue was perfect, both my date and I liked the play, Henry V.
