I took my kids (13 & 8) on this adventure. We are a Geocaching crew and this was very similar. They enjoyed it so much they want to do it again. You only need to buy one if you go as a group...so its well worth the 1/2 price ticket.

My family (two parents and two teens) moderately enjoyed this activity. We purchased two tickets for the four of us which was fine. We would have been very disappointed if we had purchased four tickets because each ticket comes with a GPS device...continued

My 11 and 13 year olds had a blast but here are my (small) complaints:
1. I registered for a 9am pick up and the Goldstar voucher confirmed that I could pick up the GPS from 9-10:59am. However, when we arrived at the museum at 9:45am, we were...continued

Almost fun, but seemed a little too easy and a little too short.

Fun but not challenging enough for a 14 year old. Good for kids to practice map reading skills - not GPS used!

This is a GPS controlled "Spy Adventure" around the area of The Spy Museum. We did the one-hour version, and the 13-year old I was hosting said it was one of his favorite things. It took us somewhat over an hour because we had difficulty solving...continued

What a great time we had: grandparents and two grandsons, ages 7 & 8. We loved the walking, the exploring, the messages that came in on the GPS "just for us". We split up with each grandparent accompanying a grandchild, and we easily heard all...continued

You get an electronic device that gives you instructions and knows where you are. Several people could share one devise.

We used two devises - one for each ticket. Both malfunctioned in the middle of the event. So, we really can't rate it....continued

Spy in the City is a great way to take children ages 8-15 through a portion of the Penn Quarter in Washington DC. We saw the Old Post Office Ford Theatre Ben Franklin statue. It gives the kids a focus and so they enjoy walking around and...continued

The GPS systems were pretty old. I could not figure out how to go back to read prior instructions. It often told us to go to a location but the item we were looking for was a block away. The headphones we received didn't work and the device was...continued

This is a lot of fun. That said you have a choice of following 2 different leads and as this is outside you should consider that if you have children.

Great idea, lame execution. It was a combination of too hard and too easy. The "too hard" part came early on, which was a major bummer ... we couldn't for the life of us find stop #2. We called headquarters twice and finally worked it out.

Also...continued

Really interesting...great way to see the city and learn a few things at the same time. Could have been a little longer though!

Cute idea - and fun for the kids (would not take a child older than 12 or so).

This was a good time and a little goofy for two adult women. It's definitely appropriate for children, and it would be more fun the more people you have. Another idea would be to have competing "teams" at once. It's a fun little excursion, kind of...continued
