This is still a work in progress. Individual fine (if not outstanding) performances. I need the show to be believable - and as the author mentions in the liner notes.. he is striving for that too. You'll need to decide how much you can believe.

interesting story, good staging and music
the plot was difficult to follow, especially with Clementine's strong drawl.

Well acted, nice set, not as much music as I expected from the reviews they chose to highlight in newspaper ads, but I thoroughly enjoyed the music that was in the play. I would see it again, my husband prefers plays that are less serious. The...continued

Shows needs work but I did like it. The actors were terrific, especially the lead female. WOW what a great actress. Not perfect but good.

The jazz was great, the acting was convincing. The tragedy of Katrina & its impact on survivors compounding problems they might have already had was stressed.

It's a play packed full of drama and human emotion. (not for the light-hearted). but the acting is superb and the theme is poignant and relevant. Attend this if you want to be touched and get a view inside the family dramas brought on by...continued

This is a very powerful drama and the music is superb. We had a challenging (and somewhat humorous) experience explaining the story within a story within a story to our guests from Hungary whose English is somewhat limited. If you've had prior...continued

Very creative production of an American tragedy in the deep south presented with blues music and modeled after a Greek tragedy ( Agamemnon + Clytemnestra ). Hurricane Katrina and its related floods will be difficult for our generation to capture...continued

I found it very slow moving and had difficulty understanding the dialogue
at times. I thought there would be more music.

Excellent production - compelling drama with complex theme. Music and creative staging add to effect of the play. Mature theme based on Greek story of Agamemon.

We enjoyed it very much although the first half of the play seem to move slower than the second half. I think the we had a better understanding of the characters after the first half.

Quality of acting, the set design, and themes were of interest and well done. The timing was impeccable. I LOVED the music. At times I had difficulty hearing speech articulation with some of the male cast members. Certainly it was a gloomier...continued
