Witty, funny, EXCELLENT performances -- great fun. Best play I have seen at this Playhouse. In case you have not been to this venue: Intimate seating at individual tables -- no bad seats.

This is an absolutely delightful play. It's a narrated musical and the narrator is clever, humble and downright funny. This is a very comfortable playhouse. I highly recommend you attend this play. You'll walk out smiling.

A delightful play, good actors - particularly the Drowsy Chaperone and the supporting cast. However, the leads sang off key, couldn't reach higher notes, and generally, were weak in this very important area. There are plenty of actors in San...continued

good story and construct for play within a play. Large cast for a small stage but all in all enjoyable.

first - abit about the theater: it is located in a beautiful community center with a dramatic view of the bay. Seating is at cocktail tables and coffee, drinks and snacks are available before the show and at intermission. Seeing the stage from the...continued

The players were very talented and enthusiastic. The show itself was kinda lame. Broad slapstick which is not my style, but the crowd loved it.

The playhouse held 27 tables. Every seat offer a good view. The sound system can be improved. The comedy is light hearted, the man in chair was funny without overboard. The lady played as Chaperone has a wide range of voice. i was not impressed...continued

I really enjoyed the "narrator's" acting; his movements and timing and tone worked very well in the role. Overall, though, I wasn't as enamored with this musical when compared to others I've seen this year.

Loved it but did not particularly like the homosexual innuendos. I thought it would have been fantastic with out them

This was an enjoyable evening. Surely not a Broadway production of the play, but certainly entertaining.

An enjoyable musical with the unusual conceit of having the narrator play an old record of a bygone musical. When he stops the record to add a comment, the actors stop in mid-song. The leads had good singing voices and great comedic timing - a...continued

This a charming cast and they do a very good job. Io really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the space and the table seating. There were some minor sound issues the night I saw it, but nothing distrating.
