What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful sunny fall day! The plaza was the closest thing I have seen to a town piazza here in LA with the water fountain, vendors, children, and live music. The performance was terrific. I was fortunate enough to...continued

I enjoyed the event with the following caveats. I would have liked it more if the concert was one hour and if Placido Domingo sang more.

I enjoyed the Q & A and would liked to have had more question answered.

Performance were very good, but they kept letting people into the section for seating which caused chaos in the section and detracted from the show. Some were very rude.

This was an all day event, so even though it is $9.00 to park and the food outside was a bit pricey (but good), I felt overall that I got a lot of "bang for my buck". I was fortunate enough to hear Placido Domingo sing with one of the young...continued

I can't complain too much since the tickets were basically free (besides the $19 total service charge and $9 parking.) The orchestra sounded lovely. The acoustics in the music center is fabulous. I could hear everything very clearly, including the...continued

I thought it was wonderful, but very short. I liked the idea of the Q & A at the end. It really great to hear what the artist have to say. The young artist were amazing, it's wonderful that we get to see the upcoming stars of the future.

Seeing Placido Domingo for the first time live and up close was a real treat. His group of young opera singers were an extremely talented youth that didn't leave me with a dry eye. The orchestra was spot on and humor was even incorporated at the...continued

The artists were very impressive! Beautiful voices! Beautiful arias! Next time, please include a printed program listing names and biographies of singers, as well as the composers of the arias.

This was a wonderful open house - great experience for children and adults alike. Placido Domingo was welcoming and obviously keen for all to enjoy the experience.
The only problem was that so many people were late and there was a constant flow...continued

Wow, what a great opportunity. Maestro Domingo conducted the first part of the 45-minute concert showcasing young talent, then performed a lovely comic duet with one of the students. Afterwards, we went on a tour of the Dorothy Chandler. A...continued

It was a noble gesture on the part of Placido Domingo, James Conlon and the LA Opera. HOWEVER, the audience was about as clueless and uncivilized as you can get, devoid of common courtesy - with phones ringing during the performance, calls...continued

The approximately 45 minute show was a very accessible,family-friendly introduction to opera for children and an enjoyable, low-stress one for parents to attend with their children. I only wish we had known about the many other events that LA...continued

The event was fabulous. My entire family loved it - my daughter, son-in-law and my two grandsons - 5 and 9 years old.

It was a highlight...and would love more. Of course hearing Placido was an exceptional treat.
