These are exceptionally talented musicians and very talented dancers and singers in a repetitive, self indulgent, overly long musical.

This is a really fun, engaging and educational night of theatre. Be ready to boogie along with the cast. I found 2 songs in the second act to be a drag on the performance, but loved the show overall. I really recommend you go see it!

This musical was a little different than I'm used to. Mostly because it was interactive with the audience as if we were really watching a show in the Africa Shrine.

I can't complain about the performances. The voices and dancers were...continued

This show was amazing. I grooved in my seat from beggining to end. It's more of a musical than a play. There is audience participation. Outstanding.

This show was very unique, setting up the scene as though we (the audience) were actually at Fela Kuti's Shrine. The performers encouraged the audience to participate to make it feel more authentic and it was very refreshing. The costumes and...continued

This story has a powerful message about the struggles of daily life in Liberia during the 60's and 70's.

This story is for adults who have an appreciation for history. This is not the type of play I would take a child under 14 years of age....continued

This was musically moving to the core, visually inspiring and historically informative. Don't be surprised to find your booty is moving (if only involuntarily) to these viseral beats as your mouth forms a large smile…If this is not the case, check...continued

Two thumbs wayyy up! It was energetic, fun, hip and very unique. The singing was so good that I have to get the soundtrack. It will be here for the next month so I plan to go back again. Hopefully I can take my niece this time.
