High energy, beyond entertaining. You will be standing up, cheering, and dancing. The show could be edited (be prepared for almost 3 hours) and still not lose its impact.

Lively dancing and music. But this work is not intended for our demographic - caucasian seniors in our 70's. It's very loud with no change in dynamic at all throughout the evening - it starts loud and stays that way and the nature of the music...continued

The music is certainly fantastic! It's really what makes this musical "cool" and energetic. The plotline was great in the first half. My only criticism was that the plot was really weak in the second half (got kind of boring for a minute). But the...continued

Very energetic performance, good dancing, but very loud (painfully so at times) and really short on any sort of story line. We left at intermission.

Amazing first act! The lead actor was dangerously charismatic and the compelling story, creative staging, live Afrobeat music and glorious dancing kept me riveted. Sadly, I got lost in the second act. The story jumped back in time, making it...continued

I would not suggest this musical. The goldstar seats were great and the music was enjoyable but it quickly (after about 20 minutes) became very repetitive and boring. I have enjoyed all of the other plays that I have seen recently (especially Meet...continued

Infectious, irresistible and non-stop! Everyone in the audience was on their feet, chanting, clapping, dancing along. A celebration in music, drums, dance and song, Fela's life. Sahr Ngaujah brought the house down! Don't wait, get your tickets and...continued

The music and dancing are vibrant and energetic! While the story is a bit thin, the production and performances make "Fela" a force of entertainment!
