This was a fabulous show! It's funny and very, very poignant. I wish Jay all the best - looks like he is Broadway bound :-). The theatre is very small so get there in plenty of time.

This show was performed by an extremely talented man. It was a wonderful example of what Cubans went through to escape and gain their freedom. It was so touching, parts of it brought tears to my eyes.

Loud and boisterous...and OUTSTANDING! An amazing performer with an amazing story. Take note: the promotional photo is of the artist and his family's actual trip portrayed in the show (he's the sleeping child). Bring kleenex.

1 person show- beautifully acted- of the story of his immigration to the US from Cuba. He engages the audience to feel what it was like in Cuba in the late 50's, early 60's between the transition of Batista to Castro. Informative and evocative.

The event was excellent, informative, and very entertaining. At times you could hear a pin drop; other times the writer and solo actor had the audience in knots laughing. My husband and I plan to go again.

It took me back to places and events that was amazing and challenging and at a time only our grand parent went through.

It was a great one man show. Would have given five stars, but the chairs were really uncomfortable, but the venue space is very adorable. There even was a little complimentary reception w/ wine, juice, water and snacks.
