I wanted to like and be touched by this play, and I almost did--until 3/4 of the way through. It then became a misleading infomercial for questionable treatment that the unfortunate playwright did not live to actually experience. Yes,we cannot...continued

Humorous and touching definitely sums up this show. It's a very good piece of theater all around -- the acting, the writing, the direction. It's a difficult subject, but this really isn't a cancer story, it's a celebrate life story.

The play was poignant and touching, the actress fabulous and the theater was the cutest I have ever been in! Highly recommend the whole experience. I'm going again!

I went to see Cheryl King in her show GRAPEFRUIT last night for the second time. I took a friend with me. We both loved it. She gives a brilliant performance that will take you on a mind opening journey to a place we don't often think about. ...continued

This play was well written. You can agree with what the writer of this play was bringing across to the audience. Grapefruit is a must see one person play.

Great story, superbly acted, and at 60 minutes the perfect length for a one woman show in this tiny theatre. This is what NY is all about!

The theater is very intimate, holding about 20 or so in the audience. I have never attended a 'production' in a such a setting, but I must tell you, this performance was great! We all laughed, cried and sighed with the actress as she told the...continued

This is a powerful play, well-acted, in an intimate theater space. It left me shaking. It is so helpful to look cancer right between the eyes, rather than let it hover, terrifying and creepy, at the edge of your mind.

A really powerful portrayal of a woman's battle with cancer. Certain scenes dragged and/or were a bit overdone, but overall it was a really interesting and educational performance. I would definitely recommend it.

This play is a very moving one hour glimpse into the psyche of someone afflicted with cancer and how she faced it all with a great sense of humor. Definitely worth seeing.
