I SAW THIS ON FRIDAY NIGHT AND LOVED IT...THIS IS THE 3RD TIME I'VE SEEN IT AND HAVE LIKED IT BETTER EACH TIME...I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED THIS CAST OF ACTORS AND THE INTIMATE SIZE OF THE THEATER...I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AND WISH THEM A...continued

Campy, but not as smooth as I would have expected from such experienced actors. The plot was pretty thin, and the dialog provided only a few chuckles. Better to stay home and watch an old Thin Man movie in our opinion.

All of the actors were great , except for a few line flubs, which surprised & annoyed me a bit. The story was slow in the set-up, and the pay-off was negligable. All in all pretty cute though. Loved Julio Juan Juarez... Or whatever it was... ...continued

The cast was great except for several line flubs, and I really wanted to like this, but the script was just terrible. Very few funny lines. Such a waste because the set and costumes were wonderful and these very talented actors deserved better...continued

This was fun and entertaining. We enjoyed it. A fun Who Done It with a wink and nod to Marple, Poirot, old Hollywood.

I was disappointed since the last play, "Elevator", I saw at this theater was rather good. This play was overacted and cliche. The characters were cliche, the story has been done so many times, it was pretty ridiculous. It definitely doesn't leave...continued

Not funny, not dramatic, not suspenseful - I'm at a loss what the writer was going for here. So mentioning Double Indemnity in passing qualifies as "homage" these days? The only thing this production has in common with movies are b-pictures you'd...continued

This play had just the right mixture of humour and fine acting. Both my wife and I loved it! We highly recommend other to see it!

A very well done play with a talented cast. Acting and staging were very good as well as the story. I would highly recommend this for a fun night! Captured the "golden age" perfectly.

The idea is great, the execution less so. James Gleason is by far the stand out as a hard bitten detective and the end is fun but the second act needs serious tightening.

This play needs a serious rewrite. The premise is solid but the first half was far too long for the material covered. It seemed to drone on and on. I got to the point where I simply did not care what happened next, and just wanted it to end. If...continued

Fun script and was waiting for the twist in the plot to reveal the outcome for the characters. The chemistry between Bret and Veronica is evident and makes for an entertaining ride as the tension rises and the others all seem to be hiding...continued

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with this intriguingly-titled but poorly paced whodunit. The first half of the play is taken up with introducing far too much information about characters who are really only of interest as potential murder...continued

An enjoyable and fun murder mystery with the true feeling of a bygone era. It is well written and well acted. A whodunit that keeps you guessing until the conclusion.

This is an old-fashioned, 1940's style mystery, wonderfully acted and very entertaining.

It really needs a total work over - don't know what the writer had in mind, but whatever it was, it was awful! As so many others who attended this play said, it would have been better to stay home & catch a good movie on the TV.

Also, how...continued

I'm giving this 2 stars because I feel bad for the people in this play, but in truth it deserves 1 star. Everything about this play is terrible starting with a non-sensical script (whodunit? are you serious?) and moving right through the very poor...continued

We thought it was great fun and an easy night of theater. The Cast was delightful. It's a small stage production, so just go and have a good time. We recommend it!
