I wanted to love this and really looked forward to it bit it didn't quite do it for me. I really appreciate the subject matter and think Brian is doing a great service by sharing his personal experience of deep depression. I'm glad I'm in the...continued

Brian Copeland does a wonderful job dealing with a difficult subject: his own period of suicidal depression. But I didn't find the show itself depressing. I found it very moving.

We love Brian Copeland for the honesty of his oerformance and the importance of his content. We had a lot of trouble understanding him when he was in a character other than himself. This really spoiled our understanding of the continuity of...continued

Again, with this show, Brian Copeland scores a hit. Waiting Period was a little dark but had a profound message. I think that it resonates best with those who are familiar with "....Black Man" as the linkage is clearer.

Brian Copeland did a great job adding humor to a serious subject. He made the audience laugh, while at the same time exploring the issue of suicide from various perspectives. I thought his idea of using the 10 day gun registartion waiting period...continued

Brian Copeland shares more than his own history of depression in this one-man show. He creates characters to underscore the frequency of depression and the age spread of those affected. What struck me was the kindness, Copeland shows to himself...continued

This show discussed a very serious topic, depression, with wit and insight. I am very glad I went. Don't miss it.

What a show! The 75 minutes flew by. Brian's performance was emotionally engaging and honest in dealing with depression. I could feel his pain and his stuckness. And I enjoyed getting to know his characters!

"The Waiting Period" is one of the finest theater performances we have seen in years. In this riveting autobiographical piece, Brian Copeland skillfully balances profound suffering and uproariously cynical humor. Embodying characters as different...continued

This show was sobering (the woman next to me kept having to wipe her eyes), but it is such a heartfelt and intimate sharing by Mr. Copeland, that the necessarily grave subject matter goes down with no bitter aftertaste. The audience' response...continued

Brian Copeland manages to address a dark subject with humor and grace. We were engaged the whole time. Still a few unanswered questions we would have loved for him to go into - if you're going deep, why not go all the way and talk more about how...continued

Sooooo well done, Brian! My feelings ranged from laughing out loud to feeling crushed at the characters Brian portrayed during the 75 minute performance.

The show was a lot funnier than i originally assumed it would be considering the subject matter. I enjoyed it but the ticket is a bit over-priced and i would not pay 20 dollars to see it again, 15 maybe, 10 definitely, but for a one man show the...continued
