I was surprised by how relevant the moral of this old show turned out to be. A must see for modern parents. The dance numbers were good. Most of the singing was good. Seemed to be some sound issue or voice and diction issues during our...continued

The lead actors were fantastic! The storyline pacing seemed a bit rushed, but the performances were excellent.

Took my mother to see this play. She saw it in Chicago in 1958! We both loved it. As others have said, the leads were superb and the kid actors where great as well. They looked like they were having fun ~ I really enjoyed that about the show!!...continued

We enjoyed the show. I love the musicals in the round because they use the aisles, stage, etc. It was well performed and Kate Baldwin had a wonderful voice. It is worth seeing.

From start to finish the entire musical was electric. Although the time period was foreign to youngsters seating beside us, I'm assuming they missed a lot of the dialogue. However, they too thoroughly enjoyed the choreography, music, and entire...continued

The dancing was outstanding. the female lead was very good-- Harold Hill- male lead- wqas just a B. Why did she change the costumes to the mid 50s? Overall it was very enjoyable, but not the greatest.

The show was great! There are no "bad" seats at Arena Stage. We took the DC metro - so didn't have to worry about parking.

Prof Harold Hill was played by the understudy, who certainly looked the part but was rather underwhelming in the very beginning. He got better as the play progressed and did quite well overall. Marian has a wonderful voice but looked a bit cold....continued

Thought this was an excellent production. I'm from NY so always compare things to Broadway and I think this totally matched up. I don't see how it could have been any better. And having a real high school marching band come out was the perfect...continued

Arena Stage's production of Music Man made for a very enjoyable evening. The acting, dancing and singing were all top tier, from the leads to the ensemble. I was distracted by the odd costuming choice -- setting the scene not in 1912 (where the...continued
