I've always liked this museum. Even better with no kids around!

This was a very enjoyable evening and we will probably do this again. Listening to interesting lectures and the ability to walk around the museum after-hours was a nice adult experience where you were not interrupted by kids. The only...continued

Great way to see the museum, fun people abound, trivia is cool, supports a good cause, I'll go again. Neat place to meet people and to hang out with a group of people.

My 5 stars are for the butterfly aviary. It is magnificent. We arrived just at 6 and so were in it alone for a time, except for Karen the Entimologist
who takes care of all these lovely creatures. She was interested in answering our questions...continued

Adults only nights at a museum is a brilliant idea. Pizza and beer was sold. The beer choices were excellent and reasonably priced. Quite a few of the interactive displays were not on or didn't work, but overall great expereience. Butterfly...continued

The nature museum is wonderful, we never knew it was there. The butterfly room was fun. We really enjoyed the Reptiles brought by the Chicago Herpetological Society and the music of the Kodiak Farm Boys. There was so much to see. There is a...continued

This was an interesting and educational event, I always love the butterflies! I tried some interesting microbrew beer, and I really liked the honey tasting. Didn't have enough people with us for a trivia team, but it was great spending the evening...continued

Nice evening out during the week with a friend. It's perfect for the cold months of Chicago. It's fun to explore this museum without the kids! Try one of the craft beers they have for sale and kick back to a little live music after exploring.

Except for the nice butterfly exhibit, this really is a place of kids. I envisioned strolling/exploring the nature space with a nice glass of wine. Well, no walking around with wine folks. Just bad bad cheap wine (we both poured our...continued

Access to exhibits was as described, although you can't see most of them with drink in hand. 80% of the people played trivia, I did not expect this to be such a trivia-based event. Not much was done to spur interaction between attendees.
